This is by far the best vegan restaurant I've ever ate at. Not only did this place have vegan options, but every single thing on the menu could be made to be vegan, and most things did not have to be modified to be vegan as they were already, with the exception of cheese. I had a waffle with whipped cream which was so delicious and an amazing frappe. I went with a group of mixed-diet people and every single person loved the food. Definitely coming back here again! The prices weren't crazy expensive like they tend to be in vegan options too which was a plus.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. There are always new things to try with their blue plate specials. I love their vegan mac & cheese bites as well as their buffalo chick’n. Their vegan Oreo cheesecake is the best. It’s a fun place to go to hang out with friends and have delicious food.

On a roadtrip through Boston, we decided to detour to Cambridge just to try this place! We were not disappointed! Most menu items were vegan and the ones that weren't could ALL be made vegan! It was delicious and the staff were all so nice and knowledgeable! Highly recommend! I will be back if I'm ever close by!

Read moreThey cater heavily to vegans, however they are technically vegetarian (they have eggs and dairy cheese for those that want it). I would say about 75-80% of the menu is vegan by default, however everything else can be made vegan. This is the only con, however since everything can easily be made vegan I did not deduct points. Just make sure to specify when you order.

i can’t praise veggie galaxy enough! i love coming here for the cool diner vibes, extremely friendly/helpful waiters, and unbeatable food. although it is vegetarian, all items on the menu can be made vegan (although some more successfully than others...) the reuben is the best one i’ve ever had and the fries are too die for. my boyfriend loves the blt and we both adore the vegan mac and cheese. french toast and donuts are delicious too.

Fantastic food, I’ve been multiple times with a mixture of veg and non-veg friends and family and everyone has loved it so far. The decor and vibe definitely completes the experience, and if you have a chance to go for the donuts on the weekend they’re 100% worth it!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? It’s so good. SO good. We didn’t eat anything even remotely healthy. This is the first time in years I’ve had cheese sticks and they were excellent, hot and stringy. Not sure what kind of vegan cheese they use. Reminded is of the Downbeat Diner in Honolulu.

Finally made it here! Though they said the wait would be 45 minutes, we were seated within 20. It was also nice to be able to order beer and a frap at the bakery bar while waiting. Service was efficient and the food was like a dream come true, everyone deserves some junk comfort food from time to time! I could’ve done without the tempeh bacon but the seitan chick’n was out of this world.

If you are vegan, you have to go here at least once. This is such a unique experience with countless vegan options of typical diner fare. Everything can be made vegan. The food is definitely not healthy and can be pretty dense and oily, but again it is diner food. Service is always great, and the food is good. There have been a few dishes that we have been let down by but their Ruben, mozz sticks, oreo shake, and chicken sandwiches are awesome.

Veggie Galaxy was amazing! I had the Rueben with house made seitan & house made 1000 Island - so good! The dressing wasn’t overly sweet. We had poutine as a starter - highly recommend! Portions are generous & delicious. I hope we can make it back again during this trip to Boston.
