Best food ever - Edit
I have been here a million times and am never disappointed. The vegan mozzarella sticks are my favorite things on the planet! Everything can be made vegan, which is the best! I love that they support small and local places (which they also are!)

Hall of Vegan Fame - Edit
One of the best vegan meals I have ever had. Everything can be made vegan. I tried the mozzarella sticks, rueben with potato salad, and Buffalo Mac and cheese. Sometime vegan mac isn’t great but this is AMAZING and the Buffalo seitan on top is next level, even the blue cheese on top is incredible. I also really liked the pickup situation in the back for Covid (go past the sign there is a tent with lights). This is some of the best food I’ve ever had, vegan or not.

MUST EXPERIENCE!! - Edit
I'm more of a health-food vegan so I wasn't sure if I'd like this restaurant, but I was immediately won over by the quality of the food. The menu shows quite a bit of fried food, white flour, etc. but IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. It's not "junky" at all - everything is homemade and the flavors are out of this world. Plus, there are foods on the menu that are not fried, white flour (e.g. soups and salads) - I didn't try them because the people I was with insisted that I get the more hefty food - I'm glad I did!!!! The three of us shared: macaroni & cheese fried balls (served with buffalo sauce & a HUGE portion of cheese sauce - ALL HOMEMADE) - I expected something junky and heavy but instead the outside fried portion was crispy and delicate - the inside was heavenly, the sauces were amazing. We also shared the poutine which, again, was SO much more than I ever expected - I can't even describe the amazing flavor - the fact that the gravy and cheese sauce are both homemade is what makes it fabulous. Also shared "The Rachel" - a sandwich on rye which was sensational, complete with homemade seitan flavored like corned beef. The portions are crazy hefty. Also, make sure to get the potato salad AND the cole slaw... Absolutely sensational. I don't eat like that often, but when I'm in Boston I will again!!!!!

the pinnacle! - Edit
Truly don’t know what to say about veggie galaxy that hasn’t already been said. This time I shared their buffalo chick’n burger, loaded mac and cheese, and potato salad with a friend and our ravenous eating only paused long enough to get punctuated with “mmm” and “....oh my god.”

Dream come true - Edit
Diners are such an American comfort but usually don’t have a lot of vegetarian options. The fact that this place is fully vegetarian is literally my dream come true. Incredible food, super friendly service and great decor. The only downside is that I can’t order everything every time I go!

Might be the best vegan food in Boston - Edit
Veggie galaxy is my go to place for comfort food. They have the best vegan mac and cheese I've tried in my 5 years of veganism and an incredible all vegan bakery. I highly recommend the lemon meringue and chocolate cream pies. Get the mac and cheese bites appetizer if you don't want to commit to the entree, or want more variety. They also have pretty good cocktails that are clearly marked vegan or not.

My favorite diner/comfort food - Edit
Veggie galaxy offers a full menu of vegan and vegetarian options, all of the latter which can be made vegan. Breakfast items include vegan pancakes, omelets, BLTs, and bakery items such as donuts and cinnamon rolls.
Read moreLunch and dinner items include multiple salads with different proteins, a plethora of sandwiches ("Tuna" melt, Reuben, "steak and cheese" sub etc) and protein-packed entrees such as Chick'n and waffles, vegan meatballs, Seitan cutlet of the week and a Blue plate special.
Myriad delectable desserts await the hungry patron. Not only are they all vegan but they are visually stunning and tasty as hell.
Pros: Vegan options abound, Comfort food at its best, Cool relaxed Cambridge vibe and great service

I've never been to a restaurant that can beat Veggie Galaxy. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Sweet, savory, or a combination of the two. Everything can be veganized and there isn't a bad dish on the menu. Plus the have an inclusive and fair business philosophy that shows in their employees' friendly demeanors.

Simply the best - Edit
Better than all the rest. No seriously everything I have ever ate here has been above and beyond amazing. My go to orders are the Rachel sandwich, steak and cheese, or buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. I ate her before I was vegan and it seriously helped me realize I could make the switch and not miss out of my guilty pleasures.

Wow American veggie heaven - Edit
Lots of vegetarian and vegan things. Most things on the menu are vegan and they don't differentiate so just ask! They are also very flexible and can change things. We got so many crazy things here. The Mac and cheese with vegan bacon was to die for! The vegan desserts are like mind blowing as well!

Delicious! - Edit
Love this spot. I typically go with the chickpea ‘tuna’ sandwich or a breakfast sandwich for a main meal. Their vegan cheese sauce is also the best I’ve tried so far to date; it is soooo good! Other things I recommend are the Mac and cheese bites, vegan mozzarella sticks, and cheesy fries! Service is also great!

Classic comfort food, but better! - Edit
I love my kale-lentil grain bowls and all, but sometimes you need a comfort food splurge, and when you do, Veggie Galaxy is THE place to go. The Rachel and the Club sandwiches are loaded and perfectly messy-delicious, as are the buffalo chick'n tenders. The chick'n and broccoli alfredo is so convincingly creamy we almost weren't sure it could be vegan. Above all, though - the frappes. 🤤 And you can get them malted! They are the perfect balance of thick, creamy and sippable.
Read moreThey don't just make vegan-friendly versions of diner classics - in many cases, I think they really improve them.
Pros: Comfort food without the guilt, Some sandwiches can also be gluten-free
Cons: No gluten-free pasta options

Really cool diner experience - Edit
We drove to Boston just to try this place for breakfast. Ordered the French toast stuffed with cream, chick'n and waffle, corned beef hash and cocktails. The food was really good although I didn't really like the chick'n substitute they used for the waffle. Most food was actually vegan. The cocktails were excellent and the vibe of the place was buzzing and super busy.

Cons: Not all vegan (yet)
