Finally authentic vegan Mexican food in Reno!! - Edit
Super friendly waiter sat me down and let me know just how much he appreciated me stopping by. Menu is limited but I’m my experience limiting the menu means excelling in what they offer. I had the chimichanga and I was very impressed. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and from scratch. They also have American burgers so you can bring your friends!

I’ve been waiting for an all vegan restaurant to hit reno for YEARS now, and this place definitely delivers! Their food is to die for, the atmosphere is comforting and welcoming, and the staff is so kind! I got the Crispy Chicken burger with regular fries and a bowl of mac n’ cheese (so unbelievably good), my lady got the Spicy Chicken burger with Asada fries, and one of our meat-loving family members got the chicken tacos with avocado. This place does not dissapoint, and everybody left happy, full, and satisfied. So unbelievably happy that we finally have a fully vegan restaurant in Reno! This place is a dream come true.

I have been to House of Mexica several times now. Everything I have tried, from the spicy chicken sandwich to the chimichanga, has been delicious! I have taken non vegans here and they loved it too. So happy to have an all vegan place in Reno 🙂

Animal fries are really great, as are the smoothies! (Especially the strawberry!!) Chicken sandwich is spicy but great if you can handle the spice! Nachos are top notch😄the ONLY all vegan restaurant in Reno and it's a great one!

We visited House of Mexica twice during our brief stay in Reno and the food was incredible. We had the Carne Asada Nachos (so good we ordered them both times!), Al Pastor Tacos, Carne Asada Chimichanga, Spicy Crispy Chick’n Sandwich with Buffalo Fries, and Return of The Mac Burger. Every single thing was delicious. Their cheese sauces are house made and super tasty, none of that Daiya nonsense here! The burger is an excellent stand in for a big mac, the fries are cooked to perfection, the chick’n was crispy and outstanding. I really recommend getting an upgrade to the Buffalo fries that are swimming in spicy sauce and topped with ranch. Also, pay the extra two bucks for avocado on the nachos, it’s so worth it! As far as I know this is Reno’s only all vegan restaurant, and it’s pretty new. The menu is small but they have nightly dinner specials. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Must-try vegan heaven - Edit
This place is phenomenal. I am vegan, my aunt is vegetarian, and my father is hardcore carnivore. Like refuse to eat most vegan food. I had the crispy chicken sandwich the first time. My dad smelled it from the seat next to me, tried a bite and loved it. We went back the next day, he got one and the carne Asada nachos. I had the Asada burrito, and my aunt had the classic burger. We all finished every last bit. Everything is phenomenal and flavorful and hits the spot without question. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food.

Love the all vegan menu! - Edit
I've heard a lot of good things about this place, so I decided to finally check it out. The old sushi sign has been replaced with the new restaurant sign so it was easy to find. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with animal kingdom fries and I can't believe how awesome the food was. For me, the price was worth it and I will definitely go back to try the other items.

Spicy chicken sandwich with animal kingdom fries were delicious! Just the right amount of spice. It's a family run place with son in front as our waiter and mom cooking in back. So very friendly! We were told Mom makes all her sauces. The sign on Moana side is still from the old sushi restaurant so don't be confused and miss it. We were the only ones there so I hope with Happy Cow and advertising business increases for them. Vegan food always tends to be a bit pricey. It was 15.99 for our chicken sandwiches with animal fries. Without animal fries it is 12.99. I do want to go back and try the other food.

Seriously. My boyfriend and I are huge foodies and we’ve binged at many a vegan restaurant, but this place had THEE best burger I’ve ever had. And the chimichanga was flawlessly crunchy and delicious. I can’t believe that they weren’t busier. With the amazing service and quality of the food they delivered they deserve all good praises! We’ll be back as soon as possible to try everything on the menu! 🙌🏼🤤
