I wanted to love this place - Edit
Nothing creative about this place. It’s basically Mexican-like fast food featuring faux soy meats. The sauces were bland and the best thing on the menu was french fries with very good queso sauce. Perhaps the burgers ad chicken sandwiches are better.
Read morePros: It’s vegan, The staff are nice and accommodating , The dining room is clean and nice
Cons: It’s expensive fast food, I prefer more spice in my Mexican food, It isn’t whole food plant based

Amazing Food and Friendly Service! - Edit
The Mexican food was delicious and had a variety of protein options that were packed with flavor. The buffalo fries were recommended as an appetizer to share and were very good! We will go here again when visiting Reno.

Great spot! - Edit
We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and upgraded our fries to animal kingdom fries.... So glad we did! They were incredible! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and you can tell they are genuinely trying hard and care. We also ordered the Mac n cheese, which was also insanely delicious. Will definitely come again next visit!

Come for the Mexican food, Stay for the Chick'n sandwh - Edit
I visited this all vegan restaurant and ordered a chick'n sandwich, a taco bowl, a hibiscus drink/tea and cheesecake. It was all delicious.
Read moreAlthough they are a Mexican restaurant, they also have a number of specialty burgers and chick'n sandwiches. The proprietor told us that the array of 6 or 7 different grilled or breaded chick'n sandwiches are among their best sellers, and I can see why. Mine was delicious.
The Mexican food comes with several "meat" substitute options, some of which are traditional Mexican-style "pork," "beef" and "chicken". They also offered nopales (cactus), which is what I chose and was very good.
The cheesecake was also delicious.
The menu offers one raw kale salad done with Mexican flavorings. I did not order it. The proprietor said it was because his brother is raw vegan.
The service was also very friendly. I was having problems with my credit card and the proprietor offered to give me the meal for free! I didn't though, because I want to support vegan businesses.
You should definitely give them a try!
Pros: Choice of Mexican, burgers or chick'n sandwiches. , Clean establishment., Friendly service.
Cons: Love to see a greater breadth of (raw) salads! :)

Great food fast service - Edit
I love this place , best place for vegan comfort food. And they have a wine wall. It's a perfect place to unwind and eat delicious food. Anything I have ever ordered so far has been amazing and satisfying. The staff is extremely nice. I believe its family operated, and it's the only full vegan restaurant in Reno. Btw the cheesecake is mouthwatering. 😋

Absolutely delicious - Edit
Reno doesn’t seem to have many all vegan restaurants and this one didn’t disappoint! We went in thinking we’d be ordering Mexican food, but ended up with the crispy chicken sandwich and bacon lord burger. Both were absolutely fantastic! We started with nachos with the al pastor meat, the al pastor was soooo good- highly recommend! Overall, fantastic.

At last a Real Vegan Restaurant - Edit
A few have tried and failed in this barren Vegan wasteland, but I pray the House of Mexica will be the first to thrive. The decor is rather California minimalistic, simple and clean but sharply defined and in extremely good taste. I had the Chimichanga al Pastor and it was first class and more than adequate in quantity and quality. I didn't even look at the menu, but rather relied on the host, waiter, owner? to show off as it was my birthday and I was solo. Happy Birthday indeed. A ten year Vegan crossing the 70-year goal line, my day was complete. I will most certainly return. At last Reno has a place for us.

Truly delicious vegan fast food. We were lucky, got to try the tamales, which are going to be added to the menu. The tortillas are obviously homemade with just right salt and the masa in the tamales was so soft, yummy and perfect comfort food. Will come again and often.

Delicious, but not easy to avoid soy & gluten - Edit
This place is really tasty, and everyone is so friendly and warm. There are limited options if you don't eat soy or gluten. This isn't a light, healthy meal place (although there is one thing on the menu in that vein)...this is a hearty, comfort food place when you want to pig out. Really glad they are here in town.
Read morePros: tasty food, good portions, friendly staff
Cons: menu is heavy on soy & gluten, hard to avoid, menu items are called by meat names, its weird, uses disposable plates/cutlery, altho compostable

We stopped by and enjoyed burritos. Nice flavors and filling, too. We loved the asada fries! They were amazing...I wanted to order another one but I was so full. The owner was very nice. Looks clean. We’ll visit on our next trip through Reno.

Amazing Food - Edit
Wow! Best food we have ever had! You could tell everything was made from scratch.
Read moreThe owner / server was attentive and kind.
Portions were a good size and pricing was average, however considering how fresh the food was, I think it was fair.
Here are some things we think would make it even better.
1. Gender Neutral Bathrooms
2. Fresh Sweet Tea
3. Please add sour cream enchiladas to your menu
The decoration near the checkout is amazing. They clearly put a lot of work into it. It would be nice if they could add succulent arrangements to the tables and a few more wall decorations. Laminated menus would also be nice. They are currently laminated on the first and last page, but the inside is paper and the ink was faded making it hard to read.
Carne Assada Nachos: OMG so good! Best nachos I have ever had. So much flavor and it all blended together perfectly. The vegan sour cream and vegan Carne Assada was particularly amazing.
Chicken chimichanga: Amazing flavor especially in the sauce and perfect amount of crisp.
We were just passing through the area but if we are even in the area again this will be a must stop. Don't miss it if you are in the area. They also have burgers which looked appetizing when they were being served.
Pros: Amazing fresh food, Great customer service
Cons: No gender neutral restrooms

SO good!! - Edit
Quirky Mexican Vegan fusion, food is insanely good, music was fun and service was welcoming and wonderful. I’ve been a vegan for just over a month and eating out when I travel is by far the most challenging aspect. I will come back here again and again!

All vegan menu, but could fool even the most meat loving person. I don’t know how they make the “cheese” and “meat” taste so close to the real thing. It was such a delightful surprise to know that they were an entirely vegan restaurant

Fully Vegan Resturaunt in Reno! - Edit
Yippee for a fully vegan restaurant in Reno. This wonderful new restaurant serves delicious Mexican food. My husband and I have been vegan since 1991 and 1990 respectively. We enjoyed a wonderful Chimichanga that was so delicious. In addition, we had nachos and tamales—all great. The owner is a friendly and warm person who has the restaurant with his mother. If you read the philosophy of the restaurant, you understand the ethical and principles the eatery is based on. Definitely worth a visit for all vegans and omnivores alike.

Delicious vegan Mexican food - Edit
So delicious! The asada nachos are fantastic—house-made chips, house-made vegan cheese, lots of olives and other good stuff. The music was great. The service was great, and they had a Mayan art coloring sheet for our child. The hard kombucha was tasty. They are really nice here. Overall a great meal.

Great tasting vegan Mexican food! - Edit
The nachos were BOMB. I also got the chimichanga which was also really good but should have had maybe rice, cheese, and sour cream inside. All that was in mine was beans, chick’n, and bell peppers. But it was still really good.
