Great Food

It's very small so you must book a table!
Totally worth it though, I went with friends and tried their meals and they were all great! The desserts are also amazing! Very nice staff.

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Small, Sometimes difficult to get a table

We had the tofu burger and a seitan burger and they were both mouth watering!
Very messy to eat but totally worth it.

Vegan Portuguese Food

High quality food that has several vegan variations on traditional Portuguese dishes. The food was delicious, serving size average and the service incredible. The kitchen is open to the dining area and it runs about as smooth as it can get. Very flavourful and definitely worth a visit when in Lisbon.

Pros: Fast service, Interesting flavours

Fantastic!

Probably my favourite all-vegan restaurant of the ones I’ve been to. Very creative and delicious food, everything homemade (including the seitan for example). Nice selection of beers and good service. Specials that change daily. Highly recommend!

Pros: Many options, Rapid service, Menu that is updated frequently

Cons: Busy so can expect some wait time for a table

100% recomendable!!

Love it everytime!

The restaurant is always almost full and I can understand why. The hostess is very warm welcoming and organized.
Despite being full, the service was very good and the staff nice. The menu is completely vegan so don't be afraid to try the typical "bifana" or their burguers. The dish of the day that I tried was the "meatloaf" made out of lentils and it was delicious, full of different flavours and with a great presentation.
To sweeten things up, try their 'yummi' desserts. (*mouth watering just to think about*)
The prices are very fair for the quality of food! This is for sure the right place to stop in Lisbon ;)

Pros: 100% vegan, Good quality-price

Portuguese V food

This place is amazing. They veganized all the traditional Portuguese food. The food is absolutely delicious. I went here twice and didn’t get disappointed. From the starters to the main course and to finish the delicious dessert all very well presented and tasty.
The staff very friendly and super cool.

Pros: Original vegan food

Portuguese specialties veganized

Burgers, sandwiches and salads - all vegan. Veganized version of bifana, but also a sandwich with smoked ‘salmon’. The crispy tofu burger with bbq sauce is great.

My favourite in Lisbon!

Amazing food and lovely place. Everything was so delicious at the first time that we went back for a second time in a week. First we had cheese board, Tortellino and Portuguese seitan, all terrific. Second time we ordered Portuguese starters board, Seitan burguer and a mind-blowing Portuguese dish called Francesinha which was layers of bread stuffed with seitan meat and sausage, covered with cheese and spicy tomato sauce. Huge portion and so delicious! If you love your bread, cheese and seitan this is for you.😄

Skip it

The food had to be the worst I had on my trip. Got the starter of bread olive oil, olives and beans. Clearly the bread had been left on the side as it was hard and stale around the edges, it was normal sliced bread from a packet too?! Ridiculous! Ordered the seitan burger and the sweet potato fries with garlic yoghurt as it wasn't mayo as they described on the menu. The fries were just chunks of potato - not much seasoning just meh. The burger was terrible, seved on an awful flat roll. Also ordered a lemonade expecting something delicious - got tap water with a slice of lemon!! Really??

Pros: Vegan

Cons: Staff not that friendly, Food was not up to standard

Hello vibrantveganista, our bread is from a bakery near by and we cut it and present is like that because is tradition in our country! It is not supermarket bread. The homemade mayo could not have had her best day that day, as sometimes, due to distribution, we have to adapt to other products to make our own - fortunately this problem was solved. If you decide to give us another chance we ask you to always tell us on spot if you do not like an item and we happily solve the problem that you may detect - like less seasoning. Thank you

Highly recommended

We would highly recommend a visit to AO 26 if you are looking for great vegan dining in Lisbon. It always seems to be busy so booking would be wise. The staff were excellent and so was the food. We had the traditional platter, then burgers (one tofu and one seitan) and finally desserts (peanut chocolate pie and chocolate cake), both of which were awesome!

Ein Muss beim Lissabon-Besuch!

Wir sind öfters in Lissabon und ein Besuch im AO 26 gehört absolut dazu! Aktuell gibt es Pastel de bacalhau und die Bifana ist sowieso Pflicht.

Pros: Freundliches Personal, Typische portugiesische Gerichte veganisiert

OMG you absolutely have to try it!

This is where food becomes perfection. Where tastes become a symphony. Flavors play with each other to create a perfect synergy. I tried ravioli (the portion is small and won’t fill you up, but the taste! Everything just works together so perfectly!), seitan “steak” (great taste and texture, even the potatoes were flawless) and an Oreo pie that completely blew my mind. I was making inappropriate sounds while eating it because it was just so good. It’s pricy but it’s absolutely worth it!

Pros: Absolutely amazing taste, Did I mention the taste?, So freaking good!

Cons: Quite expensive

Excellent vegan burger & fries 👏🏻

I didn’t have a reservation but was there right when they opened & was by myself so I got lucky. I didn’t get the desserts but the couple next to me did & said they were amazing.

Pros: Great options. , Nice atmosphere , Central location

Cons: Make sure to ask if you have allergies/soy , You probably need a reservation btw.
