Delicious food

Service was very good and it was a comfortable ambience. The soup and bread were excellent. The black rice bowl and sauerkraut dumplings were delicious. The only complaint is the dumplings were a little oily. I highly recommend them.

Its a valid alternative

If you don’t eat meat it’s a valid alternative to the Swedish meatballs. The plate is a bit too full of potato purée hot overall good

Vegan Meatballs

THE place to go for authentic Swedish meatballs for vegans! The portion was very generous but prices are reasonable and the staff is super nice!

Best spot for vegans in Old Town!

Service was quick and the staff was friendly. Nice atmosphere also! Ordered the BBQ bowl, toonish bowl and soup of the day. Everyone was satisfied with their meals & overall a good experience! 🥰

100% Vegan restaurant

We went there for lunch and arrived just as they were opening. We ordered the meatballs and the dumplings. Wow, it was really delicious. We had read about the meatballs and it did not disappoint. My surprise however was with the dumplings, they were filled with sauerkraut and mushrooms and they were exquisite. We are in Stockholm for a few days and will try to visit again. Very friendly staff as well.

Nice food but pricey

I had a vegan lasagne which was very tasty (pasta of the day). My boyfriend had a vegan burger (nothing special). Quite pricey for what you get (about €17). Drinks were almost all €4. Soft drinks are the same price as fruit juices. My boyfriend did not order a drink but got a glass of tap water for free. The dishes are almost all around the same price, even the soup.
On Google it says it's a vegan restaurant (not vegetarian) and they have vegan quotes outside on the charts.

Pros: Tasty lasagne, All vegan

Cons: A bit expensive, Not that many warm menu items, Expensive drinks

Enjoyable

Visited in September 2024. Great Swedish "meat"balls accompanied with some lovely mash & sauce. Nice little place, welcoming and has a limited but quality menu.

Great Vegoballs - not so great burger

We went there because we wanted to try the vegoballs and the burger. We can definetly recommend the vegoballs, they taste great. The burger however was not so great. The first time, the burger patty was burned and we asked for another one. This time it was okay, but the taste wasn't that great. You can definitely get better vegan burgers for a better price somewhere else. It's generally very pricy for the size of the portions.

Pros: Great vegoballs!

Cons: Patty was burnt and then not that tasty :(, The staff wasn't that attentive

Last minute vegan decision

My partner and I came here as a last min decision as we were coming to the end of our day in Stockholm and needed sustenance. I had the pasta of the day and my partner had the veg o balls. My word they were exactly what you want for dinner. We were nourished and the vibes of the restaurant were cosy. My partner then had the cheese cake and it was also lovely. And after double checking with the waitress that everything on the menu was indeed vegan, we could fully relax and enjoy the food.

Pros: Cosy vibes , Delicious food, Fully vegan menu

Vegan restaurant in the city centre

Vegan restaurant in Gamla Stan, the centre of Stockholm. The place itself is small but welcoming, we went there in the afternoon to have a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and were greeted with a huge selection of infusions and teas and 3 different kinds of desserts; we choose vegan cheesecake and chocolate cake (this one had a strong banana flavour, wich I liked). We really enjoyed both. Staff was kind and smiling. I didn’t try their savoury food. Prices were within the range for the area

Pros: Welcoming staff , Entirely vegan menu, Pleasant place

Vegan Swedish Meatballs!

The vegoballs were so good. I also don’t think I have ever had mashed potatoes that were as creamy and delicious. 10/10 ⭐️

Excellent swedish meatballs

Love love loved the swedish meatballs! Was great to partake in such a classic Swedish dish even though it’s so meat-centric. Tasted fantastic. Reasonably priced as well.

Veganes Restaurant & schwed. Meatballs

#Veganuary

Pros: schwedische Meatballs, Dumplings mal anders

Very very good food

I went for a late lunch, it was my first meal in Stockholm and I am very satisfied. The vego balls were something of the best I ever ate and the sauce with it as well. Cheesecake tasted great too, waitress was kind.

Swedish-style vegan food

Liked the vegan take on "traditional" Swedish food. Had to ask if the shrimp toast was actually vegan as the roe/caviar looked real! The whole menu is vegan, including the wines and beers.

Pros: Meatballs were great, Nice atmosphere when we went, Good vegan wines

Cons: Pricey, but not out of the ordinary for Stockholm
