Good buffet in the center - Edit
Lovely restaurant with a changing buffet! Everyone will find something here to their liking! Its great to have such a vegan/vegetarian place in the center of Stockholm. Usually one has to research for ages to find something for a vegan in the tourist center of a city. Not here !!

Don’t do it - Edit
I wouldn’t class this place as a ‘buffet’. There was minimal food and only 1 hot item was vegan. The only other ok dish was a pasta salad. I wanted to rate this place 1 and it would only get that because it at least doesn’t have any meat.
Read moreIf I went somewhere I didn’t like, I usually wouldn’t even rate it but I feel like a PSA is needed because there is a fully vegan buffet that is way better! Go to Herman’s! Check out my review with photos, the variety is insane.
Cons: Barely any variety and almost nothing for vegans

Perfekt - Edit

loved the buffet - Edit
if you want to eat from the buffet, you have to options: either all-you-can-eat for 199kr≈17,90€ or one plate for 155kr≈13,95€. i went for the second option and was very happy (the portion can still be very large, depending on your piling skills;))
Read moreapart from 2 items, everything was vegan and the staff knew about it very well. we liked everything we tried.
there is a small step on the front door and the toilet is definitely not wheelchair accessible. they told me dogs are allowed sometimes - depending on behaviour, size and who's behind the desk
Pros: mostly vegan, lots of veggies, free tap water, 🐶🟡 dogs sometimes allowed inside
Cons: (🚽)⛔️♿ , 🐶🟡 dogs only sometimes allowed inside

Cozy corner in the busy old town - Edit
Old Towns are known for their tourist bait, but this gem is a real deal and must-visit for vegans. They have tasty and affordable lunch and fika. I enjoyed a delicious blueberry pie (49kr) and a coffee and oat milk (15kr). Cozy, and well worth a stop! #Veganuary

Fantastic food, in a great location - Edit
The Hermitage caters for both vegans and vegetarians and staff were really helpful in advising on all the dishes. It’s a buffet style restaurant so help yourself to what you want. The location is cool, based in the old town, and there is outside seating. Food was delicious.

Super good, fair prices - Edit
Very yummy nearly vegan buffet (only 1 dish was vegetarian), quite a few different dishes very good salad! Sadly pretty poor "marketing" tho- dishes are held warm in the "hidden" drawers which are easy to oversee& no board with daily "menu"

Cozy and probably best food choice in Gamla Stan - Edit
Great place for Vegan food! It’s comfy food with a people’s kitchen vibe, buffet style. Incredible lentil soup I am still thinking of! When I was there there was only the lasagna which wasn’t vegan. Probably the cheapest option for food in Gamla Stan / Central Stockholm.

Cozy restaurant with a small but filling buffet - Edit
I came in just at the closing time (8 p.m.) and paid for the buffet after the cashier told me they might stay open until 8:30. It all worked out (I ate quickly) and had some great salad, fresh hummus with chili, lentil soup, fresh bread, potatoes, and chickpea stew. Overall a delicious and healthy dinner, just probably make sure you arrive before 7:45 or so.

Great variety, many vegan options, very cozy - Edit
The buffet in the evening is 179 SEK and it's totally worth it! There are multiple warm meals and a lot of fresh salad options. While it's not very Instagram-worthy, the flavors are amazing! Free water and cheap coffee/tea with the buffet, while lemonade/soft drinks are quite expensive.
