Delicious Osaka cuisine! - Edit
I LOVED this place!! I was hoping to grab some authentic Osaka cuisine (vegan ofc) and this place did NOT disappoint! I left feeling so satisfied (and sad that I can’t make another trip before I leave). I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area and want to try Osaka style okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and the works. The sitting areas were so cozy and quaint since they’re semi-private. The overall vibes of the restaurant were very pleasant and peaceful (despite being in a mall in a very populated city).
Read moreThe only downside is how confusing it was to find the place since it’s in the basement of a mall.

Osaka specialties - Edit
It was nice to try Osakas specialties in a vegan version. They were tasty; but maybe not my favorite Japanese food.
Read moreWe also tried the matcha parfait, which was really good; many interesting flavors.
I also liked the seating arrangements with little semi-private rooms.
Many toys and books for kids available.
It’s on B1-floor inside a mall, very much in the corner. Service was very nice.

Staff extremely personable and food a tier above - Edit
Better than OKO in terms of flavor and better Takoyaki than the most popular place on happycow in Dotonbori or whatever it’s called lol.

Vegan okonomiyaki and takoyaki, - Edit
This place is super close to Osaka station and offers vegan and gluten free versions of traditional Japanese dishes.
Read moreThe place is located at the basement level of a shopping mall. The easiest way to find is to check the restaurant's Instagram as they pinned several "how to find us" videos.
The service was nice and the food was lovely. The place has Japanese living room style rooms so you will need to take your shoes off before entering.
Pros: Food was lovely, Service was nice, Close to Osaka station

Consigliato - Edit

Convenient and yummy - Edit
We got sat in a cozy long room. Server was friendly and spoke very good English. Ordered the hand roll sushi, okonomiyaki, gyoza, and kushikatsu skewers. Everything was good but the okonomiyaki was definitely a standout, and the gyoza were just okay. We also had parfait for dessert which was good. Not one of my fav dinners in Japan but def recommend if you’re close by!

The Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki are great! But everything else is as good so choose whatever your heart desires. The restaurant tries to accommodate everyone and they speak English. Great Vegan experience.

Just okay - Edit
Perks for a fully vegan menu. It's safe for many with stomach issues / allergens, but thus lacks greatly in flavor.
Read moreI'd give a score of 2.5 - 3. I personally wouldn't go back. The service wasn't great in my experience, and I sadly didn't feel very welcome. It was kind of difficult to locate. Went for dinner (5pm). After waiting for awhile, We were seated in a private room with a television playing random things and told to call in our order over the phone, but not speaking japanese well, the man had to come us instead. We ordered karaage, gyoza, and the salad. The salad was good, the karaage's texture was decent but could've been warmer. It had a sort of hot sauce that helped. I liked the gyoza, but it didn't have much flavor. Added a point for the matcha parfait. If anything, I recommend getting that. Minus a point for them forgetting to give us water we asked for.

It was great to be able to try the local dishes in an animal/planet friendly way! And they tasted amazing! It might be a touristy place, but it's certainly worth visiting.

Incredible Opportunity to try Osaka Cuisine! - Edit
I’ve always wanted to try Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki, but nearly every version that exists has meat or fish present. However, this restaurant is completely vegan and has so many Japanese dishes to try. The quality of the food was incredible and it was such a cosy little place in a convenient location close to the station, where we felt very comfortable. Would recommend for anyone to try Japanese Cuisine!

Particularly good for gluten free - Edit
If you are gluten free then this place is a must. For me the gluten free does mean you miss a bit of the flavour so whilst I am hugely supporting of this cafe it wasn’t the most tasty food we have had. The Okonomiyaki was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. The location is a little odd inside a mall on the lower level. However as we have come to expect in Japan amazing friendly staff and great attention to detail.
