Great vegan meat options - Edit
Fully vegan place and was cool inside with great vibes. My husband got the chicken and waffles and he liked them other than the creamy sauce which didn’t really go. I got the fried rice with vegan steak and it was really tasty but a little bit over cooked on the rice. We shared the coconut sheik and that was my favourite thing it was delicious and super crispy. I enjoyed it but compared to other stuff we tried in NY it wasn’t my favourite. Lovely staff as well.

The "salmon" is out of this world! - Edit
This place is amazing. Cool music and decor, super sweet and helpful workers, and of course AMAZING food. The korean "chicken" appetizer was both crispy and juicy and super flavorful. I had the salmon and alfredo entree and the salmon is actually unbelievable. The realism in look and flavor is so accurate that if I wasn't in a fully vegan restaurant I would've been scared someone mixed up my order with real salmon.. Needless to say I totally reccomend this place.

SO GOOD - Edit
Heard many a time that UVK is great. Finally went because it was close by (23rd St CE station). Oh my goodness! Absolutely fantastic. The vibes are immaculate, with excellent music, decor and staff. I think the best chick’n and waffles in the city. Delicious loaded broccoli. The orange juice based mocktail with cinnamon was also divine. And what a treat to have a non alcoholic espresso martini!

Chicken and waffles 😻 - Edit
First time visiting in the new location. Vibe was great and the menu remains excellent. I am obsessed with the kitchen and waffles here. The kbbq wings are also so worth it.

Fantastic food in a great setting - Edit
Got a delicious lunch at UVK - chicken and waffles were amazing, also tried the broccoli small plate, which was excellent. Extremely cool restaurant with great music, atmosphere and friendly service. One of the best vegan spots in NYC! Only negative would be that the main courses are perhaps a little on the pricey end, but definitely worth it. The portion sizes are generous however, and the small plates are also quite substantial.

Wonderful dinner - Edit
We couldn't believe how real the Buffalo wings, steak, and salmon tasted like the real thing! I was especially impressed with the salmon. The cocktails and cocktails were delicious. I also really liked the art and artist photographs on the walls. The wait staff was attentive and kind.
Read moreI got the salmon with fettuccine pasta. There was too much pasta relative to the salmon and it was a bit of a small bowl, but it was very tasty. I would still come back to try other items on the menu!

Vegan Brunch - Edit
Stopped in Urban Vegan Kitchen with my family before heading out of town. We all shared a breakfast sandwich, French toast, and chikn and waffles. Everything was really good! My omni family members enjoyed their choices as well which is always a win. The standout was definitely the chikn and waffles, the seitan had great flavor.

Breakfast for dinner! - Edit
I got the golden child French toast. I loved the components of the berry jam and fresh fruit. Next time I will ask for it to be a little more well done because it was a little mushy for me, but it tasted great!😄

We love vegan brunch! Chikn and waffles was 5 stars. Savory and the kale on top put it over the top. Breakfast burrito was a hit too. Only bummer was they were not serving espresso drinks.

Overall a great little spot. Food was all tasty, though did seem like something you could fairly easily replicate at home rather than only find in a restaurant.
