The food is so excellent and service is polite and fast! Favourites are tofu in spicy sauce and wontons in spicy sauce. Bonus points for charging me separately for takeaway so I didn't have to pay service charge on the takeaway - I've never had that anywhere!

It is expensive but the food is excellent. I love Chinese food so being able to have everything on the menu was a treat! The fake meat is really tasty and the staff were really friendly. It does get busy so it’s probably worth booking!

Excellent waiter got us in without a booking on a Saturday night, so impressed with service and restaurant- perfect for birthdays and dates. Food outstanding - the ‘recommended’ wanton was amazing, as was the gongbao jiding.

Pulled up to Tofu vegan today for lunch. They had so many delicious looking options that I couldn’t decided what I wanted so I let the waiter order for me. What was brought to me was sizzling tofu and wontons in a house special sauce. Both dishes were fantastic! I would love to visit here again.

it was my first time trying the ‘fish’ (which is made from mushroom, tofu and seaweed) I would highly recommend giving it a try.

This is such a precious gem, in a humble looking spot in Islington with such genuinely delicious food! We shared many, many dishes, including spicy wantons, dumplings, and different types of tofu; and it was simply very tasty. Of all vegan places I went over the last year, this one stays to be my favourite.

If I could I would maybe give it 4.5 stars because honestly its sooo yummy but I would not normally be willing to spend £25 on a meal on a random Thursday. We got a main each and then shared to smaller dishes. I got the peking duck (my absolute fav!!!! when I ate meat as a kid) and we shared the salt and pepper tofu and the famous wontons. Another thing I guess which prevented me from a 5 is that it just felt soooo rushed, we were there for maybe 55 mins. The food comes out so quickly which is amazing, and I know theyre super busy all the time. But we finished and within 5 mins they took our plates and gave us the bill without asking, took the payment right then and there and then basically stood behind us until we left lol. I think I would absolutely love if I could get it on delivery but sadly I dont live in the catchment area😒But overall very yummy!!

So much choice on the menu, my friend and I can't wait to return. Dishes were a good size and delicious, and we enjoyed the desserts too. Sitting outside was lovely. Helpful staff.

Honestly some of the tastiest Chinese food I’ve ever had! Incredibly impressed with the massive gluten free menu, which a lot of thought has clearly been put into. The staff were lovely and clearly so passionate about spreading the vegan message. A new favourite and will definitely be back.

I was looking forward to our anniversary meal and the food didn't disappoint....Not as small as some people are saying but a lot more money per dish than any other Chinese in the area. The service was pleasant and the area by the front of the restaurant vvv airy and nice but would not be happy if was seated out back in the gloom.
Read moreWe had 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 lots of noodles (i love noodles). 1 starter wasn't great and the first lot of noodles had hardly any veg yet the second one had lots and some fake meat? Inconsistent.
I would go again but not rush, which I'm sad to say as thought it was going to be out of this world .
