Nice establishment in Panama's Old Town. My bowl was rich, with both the sauce and the rice noodles very tasty.

Desperate for a plant based breakfast! - Edit
visiting for the first time after 50 years, but as a plant based eater. I was so desperate for a healthy breakfast that was delicious. The Vegan Shack provided that perfectly! It was cozy and they have a really nice menu.

I was expecting a bit more after seeing all the 5-star reviews. The noodle bowl was good, but not amazing, noodles were a bit overcooked and they could have used a few more spices. Almond latte was good. Staff was very friendly, prices are okay, 100% vegan, nice place. Visited around lunch time and there weren't many people.

Lots of breakfast comfort foods. Been traveling Latin America for a few months and forgot how much I liked tofu scramble. Mellow environment with a nice dog. You won't regret eating here!

Good Vegan Restaurant In Heart of Casco Viejo - Edit
Our family dropped lunch here while we were walking around the Casco Viejo area. It was after the lunch hour rush so was very quiet. The owner (?) was very pleasant and attentive. We ordered the hummus appetizer which was good. My wife and son both ordered bowls - my wife was surprised that her bowl had noodles in it. My daughter ordered a burger that was actually 3 small sliders. To be candid, she wasn't crazy about them as she didn't like the texture of the burgers. I ordered the TLT and thought was it was very good. The fries were crispy. We had a brownie and Tahini cookie and both were very good. Their dog was a cutie and came around our table for some attention and hoping that we would drop some food on the floor! It was a very nice restaurant with a good size menu with plenty of vegan options. Very good and would definitely try it again next time we are in town.

One of our favorite if not our favorite meal in Panama City. We loved the TLT with home fries, the bread was perfectly toasted and filled with deliciousness. The autumn salad was refreshing and filling and tossed with dates, beets, walnuts… The smoothies were great and we finished our meal with a delicious apple crumble. Love you Vegan Shack

Nice venue in the middle of casco viejo, very tranquil. Food was disappointing, however, and doesn’t compare to the other incredible options we found in Panama City.

Sooo delicious! We are here yesterday and had to come back again just to try another dish from the menu. Yesterday we had the TLT sandwich and noodle stir fry (not pictured) and today we had the breakfast sandwich, chickpea omelet and almond labneh (not pictured). All made with such fresh ingredients too! 10/10

Don’t miss this spot in old town! Their breakfast is amazing super fresh and healthy we had the tofu scramble, banana peanut butter smoothie, and chickpea omelette and everything was amazing!!!!!
