Everything on the menu sounds delicious, but I had to choose one and went with the abundance bowl, which was awesome. I love the fact that everything is rather healthy than just comfort food. Try the kombucha too, it’s super tasty!

The Vegan Shack is located in a beautiful neighborhood and has fair pricing, good wifi, and great tasting food. I ended up staying for brunch… and then lunch because I wanted to try more of the menu. For two meals, a coffee, and tip I paid $25

The Vegan Shack hadn't opened when I visited Panama City in early 2022 so there were very limited options for me to eat out. How happy was I to learn about this place on Happy Cow when I returned in November 2022.

I loved everything about The Vegan Shack! The food is amazing and very healthy, the owners are very friendly, with a great aura and integrity, the atmosphere is super cozy, the music is nice and relaxing. It’s in the heart of Casco Viejo, so it can be a great stop on a sightseeing tour or a stroll through the old town. It doesn’t happen often that I recommend a place 1000 %, but if there is, it is The Vegan Shack. I have been to several vegan restaurants in Panama City and none of them came even close to the quality of food and service of this place. They just recently opened and I feel so lucky to have been able to go there twice during my short stay in the capital. I especially recommend the Chunky Monkey Smoothie bowl - but everything else is delicious, too. Please go there and check it out - you will love it! Enjoy! :-)

It's a super cosy place in the heart of Casco Viejo, that you might just miss it wondering the streets. I've met both mother and daughter with their dog, it's such a nice atmosphere. I felt appreciated as a customer! The food obviously was great as well, I went for the abundance bowl, simple to get the Panamanian vegan twist. My highlight was the fruit ceviche, all the flavors came together were nicely. The homemade peanut butter cookies were fabulous. Thanks so much!

Loved this little spot. Super cute interior, really friendly owner, great food, and the most adorable dog. I got the abundance bowl and I loved that it was a vegan twist on Panamanian specialties (including fruit ceviche and fried plantain). Great to still be able to try local cuisines while vegan! 100% recommend
