Delicious karaage - Edit
Though there were many tempting items on the menu, I opted for the karaage set dinner (largely inspired by a previous reviewer), and I was not disappointed. The karaage itself was so delicious I had to restrain myself from ordering more just for the taste. The tiny soup that came with the set dinner was also delicious, while the other two items (salad and a side) were plain but OK.

Highly recommended!

Cutest restaurant, filling meal! - Edit
The decor of this place is adorable. Not the cheapest but we were stuffed by the end of it! The karaage was amazing, just like I remember it - super realistic! I got a burger rice bowl and soup, full of veggies and delicious! Paired with a glass of vegan wine and a brownie for dessert!

Fantastic place, delicious healthy vegan food with great service. - Edit
I’m so happy I found this place! It is very nice with very friendly people. The staff I had spoke English. The first thing they did as I was seated was show me the button to push to call them to the table, though I didn’t need to use it. I had a steamed veggie salad, soup, brown rice, sesame smoothie and a ginger tea. All were the highest quality freshness, taste and presentation.

As Advertised - no small feat! - Edit
This is the 4th veggie or vegan restaurant we've visited in Japan, and the first three were either closed or had run out of food well before closing.
Read moreThis place is fully and proudly vegan and has a wide range of food and drink to choose from. I found the food pretty good even as a meat eater.

Great variety of tasty vegan food! - Edit
This restaurant has a nice and welcoming vibe when you enter. The menu has an extensive range from pizza's and pasta's to karage and rice bowls. Every meal I had was very tasty but leaned on the smaller side, so getting an appetizer or side dish wouldn't hurt. I highly recommend this restaurant, but be prepared for a slight walk to get there! But a walk never bothered me.

vegan spot in heart of Osaka - Edit
Great to find this completely vegan place in a busy trendy part of town. I had the set lunch which was a nice mix of veggies in a starchy sauce (their words, not mine!). Came with side salad, side dish of sweet potato and seaweed and a soup. All very tasty. Set lunch was 950¥. Last lunch order 2pm.
Read morePeople complained about their irregular opening hours. But they are very active on Facebook and post opening hours and menus. They also host/organise vegan events. Good to support them!
Pros: vegan , staff speak English if necessary , spacious and easy to find

Unreliable hours - Edit
Great restaurant in the heart of Osaka with very good selections. However I was 50/50 on four visits. They were closed at normal business hours twice on the 4 tries. I asked if they were closed on those certain days and they said they close whenever they felt the need. So call ahead to be sure.

Beautiful, laid-back restaurant. Food is delicious with a mixture of western and Japanese flavours. English understood and staff very friendly. The organic beer was lovely! Ate here twice during a one-week stay in Osaka!

A must go - Edit
Some of the best vegan food I've had. I've been here about 6 times now. The fried "chicken" and paella are must tries. They have a wide variety of options, from pastas to donburi, and some delicious desserts too. The atmosphere is also quite nice, and sitting out on the patio/front area at night under the lights is wonderful. They also have outlets by some tables where you can charge your phone etc.
Read moreIn addition to food, they have some vegan and organic products you can take home, like instant ramen, energy bars and also vegan merch. They take both cash credit card too.
Pros: Delicious food, many options, Open late, Delightful atmosphere
Cons: A bit pricy, A bit hard to find

Delicious and wonderful - Edit
Love this restaurant just a few blocks from our house. Delicious clean vegan food Staff speaks English delicious curry, deep-fried vegan oysters, salad you name it. We have not been disappointed with any dish and we have eaten there three times so far. Cozy atmosphere. A wonderful place. We are looking forward to going to the vegetarian vegan parties on the third Saturdays of each month!

Great all over - Edit
The food was delicious, brown rice was cooked well and had some curry seasoning sprinkled on top which was good. Was able to have a coffee with just a little soy milk rather than the 2 extremes of black or latte which I was so pleased about. The veggie broth had lots of actual pieces of vegetable in it. The salad dressing was lovely, seasame rather jan a vinnegrette which was a great change compared to other places. The various price options means that this can be very reasonable too!

Delicious Japanese comfort food made vegan, amazing desserts - Edit
I have mixed feelings about Paprika Shokudo because the food isn't always consistently good and they closed unexpectedly without prior notice a few times I tried to go there. However the last few times I've been there were pleasant. I like their faux meaty and fishy donburis (rice bowls) which are veganized versions of Japanese comfort food as well as their decently portioned set meals the most. They are very good at recreating meaty Japanese dishes so this is a good place to bring your omnivore friends and family. I also enjoy their soft serve which is from Vegans Cafe in Kyoto and their baked cheesecake which is one of the best I've had in Japan. I also like that they have take-out bentos with their delicious faux meat and seafood. Overall this is a feel good restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food. One of my go-tos when I'm in Osaka. They also organize monthly vegan meetups on the third Saturdays of each month.

Heavenly desserts - Edit
We went mainly for desserts and ordered pizza to take away. The soy milk soft serve ice cream parfait was delightful. The tofu baked cheesecake was very good. The pizza was quite unique taste but yummy. The staff was polite and can communicate well in simple English and there's English menu. The cafe was lovely with some groovy music on. Recommended.

Amazing flavours! - Edit
I had the Yakiniku rice bowl with soy meat, it was really flavorsome, the portion was pretty big (especially the soy) but also so delicious it was just right. Such good flavours! I also had a tofu baked cheesecake, didn't know what to expect but it fantastic, the menu is big and creative, I honestly I want to try all the dishes!!

Expensive, but nice atmosphere - Edit
Reading all this comments I was really excoted about visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere ist perfect and the restaurant is really nice. The staff is also very helpful and they have english menu. But it was reaaaally expensive! A cold tea cost 450yen, small green salad 700yen and a small portion of tomato risotto 1200yen. Really expensive. Food is organic but I didn't like it much.
