great vegan restaurant - Edit
I loved Paprika Shokudo. The space, the ambiance, the staff, the food. A wonderful experience. We had the karaage set menu, the avocado salad, and the hamburger steak main. We didn't love the hamburger steak, but everything else was delicious. All the 5 star Happy Cow reviews are right--this is a great vegan destination in Osaka.

Great overall experience! - Edit
I had the cheese hamburger set meal for lunch. It was great!! All the food was delicious, especially the hamburger. I really wanted to try the cheesecake or soft serve, but I’m too full! Hopefully I can come back later for a dessert and coffee snack.

Great Japanese Bowls - Edit
I used to enjoy chicken katsu so was happy to find a similar vegan version (although it was different but similar). Nice place, lovely cafe and tasty food. We had the rice bowls that were food for 900 yen.

Great food, great cafe - Edit
Our first day in Osaka and our first meal, really delicious. Myself and boyfriend both got the Terrayaki and it was delicious, cooked with rice and veg.
Read moreWe both also had traditional Japanese soft ice-cream with raspberry sauce, it was great to try it while visiting Japan and it tasted great. They also sell tee shirts, badges and some dried foods like energy bars. The cafe itself is nicely decorated with big wooden tables. Very positive experience

Great Place - Edit
Wonderful little vegan restaurant in the heart of Osaka. Osaka we found was rather limited on its vegan options and this place was a godsend. Had a great menu with vegan versions of local dishes. Would highly recommend to all vegans and vegetarians traveling through Osaka

Amazing little restaurant - Edit
A really interesting menu, including vegan fish and soy meats. Some traditional Japanese, but also pizza and pasta. A really nice atmosphere too. We had the stir fried soy meat donburi and the falafel donburi - both amazing. The cheesecake was good although a little small! They also have vegan wines and a small shop with vegan t shirts, food and merchandise

The first time I went to the restaurant was closed during the week so I can recommend to ask in advance if it’s open. However, the second time I went was open and I tried the karaage set which was sooo delicous! definitely will go there again!

Super delicious and diverse menu - Edit
The restaurant is super nice, it is fully vegan and the interior feels like home. The menu is diverse as you can order western food, italian food and japanese food to name a few. They also serve some deserts like ice and brownies. The food is one of the best vegan food that I tried and the prices arent bad either. I paid around 1700 YEN for a donburi and a chocolate brownie which were both amazing. They even had gluten free pasta!

Amazing! - Edit
Food is so delicious, came here for two dinners and one lunch whilst we were in Osaka. The soy meat is absolutely amazing and everything is a great price. Most main meals are around 900-1300 yen. The desert is delicious. Staff is extremely helpful and easy to navigate ordering.

Cutest restaurant! - Edit
Really delicious food, lots of choices it was hard to pick what we wanted! I got the soy creamy spaghetti which was delicious and garlicky. The chocolate brownie unfortunately was more of a cake than a fudge brownie but that was the only concern - it was still delicious and paired with ice cream it was even better! The vibe was nice, low lighting which I love and the staff was super friendly and sweet although they spoke little english. Nice and close to the subway as well so definitely will be going back tomorrow, probably the nicest vegan restaurant we’ve tried in Osaka!

Average - Edit
Our Japanese vegan started at T's TanTan and with that out of the way let me start. The dinner meal karage set was average and certainly not worth the price. The spaghetti was decent. The soy bean ice cream (berry source) was berry ice and less ice cream. It was poor compared to other average on the street Japanese ice cream.

A MUST SEE - Edit
This all-vegan restaurant is really a no-brainer if you're visiting the area.
Read moreFor lunch, I had the Karage soy meat set and it was SO flavorful! Exactly the crispy, saucy, nuggets of deliciousness I was hoping for. Comes with rice and side salad.
Husband got the cheeseburger which he liked, but be aware there's no bun. It does come with rice on the side, though, which makes it plenty filling.
Also got the tofu cheesecake and thought it was pretty good! Not overly sweet on it's own, but the sauce and berries they top it with add plenty of sweetness. Overall, a must-visit if you're in Osaka.
Pros: All vegan, beautiful interior, traditional and western options

best vegan food in Osaka! - Edit
We ended up going here twice (dinner and lunch) and both times the food was amazing! You get the option of having a bit more western food (pizza and pasta) or more traditional Japanese (tofu, rice etc). Their vegan soft serve is amazing especially their parfait! Highly recomend visiting this place even if you arent in the area!

Lovely place! - Edit
We came here for lunch and I was very impressed with the food and the cute, friendly atmosphere. I had the karaage set which was very tasty and filling. I'll definitely be back to try the dinner menu, which has even more options! It's very easy to order if you don't speak Japanese, just remember to press the button inside the little book on your table when you want to order/pay.

Lovely little vegan restaurant - Edit
We went here twice while in Osaka and the food is so tasty and the portion size is really good. The restaurant is down a side street so a bit harder to find but we used google maps both times and had no probelm. We got the burger and the spaghetti, the spaghetti was a winner for sure so we had to go back another night to get more. The meals were a bit pricey but it's all organic food and really what vegan food isn't expensive. Would highly recommend if your in the area.

Loved the mains! Def some of the best vegan food in Japan.
