What a cool and unique spot! I highly recommend checking this place out. We started with the fried Mac n cheese bits which were absolutely delicious. For our meals we got the Penne Pasta & The ARGENTO sandwich. The ARGENTO sandwich was recommended by our waiter and was hands down the best damn vegan sandwich I’ve ever had. So full of flavor and the vodka sauce just topped it off. I got both the Zombie Beach Party (not bad) but I highly recommend the Island of the living dead. If I am ever in Philly again this place is at the top of my list to visit again.

The food is simply incredible everytime we go. Big menu so there is something for everyone. My partner had a birthday here once with ~20 people (lot of non-vegans), and it was a big hit.

Read moreWe got the General Tso's Hogie and the Calamari (oyster mushroom). The hogie was out of this world.
My husband isn't vegan and said the caimari was some of the best he ever had.
Next time we are in Philly we will definitely be back.

Difficult to find parking. Metered parking. Liked the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Started with Fried Mac and Cheese Balls. They were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Good. Overpriced for the portion size. Had the Cubano Tacos (also expensive for two tacos). Wow! The cubano tacos were absolutely amazing! Would love to eat these again! Wish it came with three tacos for the price they charge. This one is a repeat. General tso’s hoagie was a decent size and had good flavor. The Bigfoot was very disappointing (portion size). With a name like Bigfoot, I expected it to be larger than General Tso’s hoagie. It tasted good. I would definitely come back and try other items off the menu. The cubano tacos are a definite repeat.

We had a great time! The horror theme is done very well… feels a little spooky but also a little silly. Food was delicious and interesting. Servers were awesome. I’d love to go for a movie night or a dance night!

Neat place in a cool part of town. Monster movies playing on the walls, very diverse and eclectic crowd, friendly staff. Fun menu to choose from! We got the seitan wings, watermelon gazpacho, and the Bavarian pretzel.Dipping sauces were delicious.

General Tso’s Hoagie was great, incredibly tasty. The fries were also above and beyond. The place has a spooky Halloween bar vibes but it’s quiet and cozy like a cafe. The music is great, probably old rock? And there is a projector showing old horror movie trailers on the wall, it’s very fun to watch. The entire menu looks really tasty, the drinks are unreal just from the ingredient list.

Crave-able options here! Love the general tsos hoagie the chicken was so thin and crispy like a chicken cutlet vibe that is not often achieved in vegan dining. Also loved the mac and cheese balls they were super satisfying without being greasy and paired well with the marinara sauce. Fun spooky vibes here and the cocktails are served in fun glasses! Very instagram-able. Would love to come again for happy hour I think non veg people would be satisfied here for sure.

This was our favorite meal while visiting Philly! I wish we could've eaten there every meal. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is cool and fun. We LOVED the food – cheesesteak, and truffle alfredo pasta. Will definitely be returning next time we're in the area.

I don't know where to start with Monster Vegan, everything about it is incredible!! We had dinner two days in a row and would have gone again if it wasn't our last two days in the city! First, the atmosphere is so fun and cute. PLENTY of space, friendly staff, fun decor and comfortable seating and the spooky theme is so fun!! A great beer and cocktail list too. The food is the best part though. So many great options on the menu! Everything we had was amazing, especially the pasta. The BEST vegan alfredo I've ever had! I'm gonna be dreaming about this place for a long time...
