Wish i could give these guys 5 stars

Delicious udon shop in a very convenient location. Staff is kind and courteous and speak English, they have an all vegan menu in English, and the food is so so so so tasty! Sad that i can't give them five stars, they deserve it. Prices are more than reasonable, food comes out fast and as I mentioned is delicious. Great place for authentic Japanese vegan cuisine.

Pros: English speaking staff, English all vegan menu, lo

Cons: They do serve animal products in addition to the v

Good Veg Udon!

Recommend for those looking to eat a local meal and still be veg. The Curry Udon was very good, reasonable priced, and filling. Be sure to ask for Vegetarian Udon menu when you sit down- staff is very friendly.

Nice Udon

Only 4 options for Vegan/Vegetarians but they were very tasty and quite reasonably priced too. Drinks very cheap too.
Staff were in abit of a rush to have us ordered by 8 and out by 8:30.
Basic meals but terrific flavour!

Very tasty!

Nice to have legit Japanese style noodles - most the other vegan places we've been to are western or western fusion. Yummy, affordable lunch/dinner option if sightseeing around around todaiji. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because there's only 4 vegan options, but would definitely return here for another meal. No waiting for us to get a table around 6:30pm on a Friday.

Pros: very tasty, affordable

Cons: limited vegan options

Really nice

We had to wait a little bit to get in because it was really busy, but the food was really nice. If you ask for the vegetarian menu, there is an option on there of getting udon with vegetable stock. Worth the wait :)

Pros: Vegetarian menu, English menu, Good food

Cons: Not many options, A bit small, so it can get busy

Delicious!

A 5 min walk from Yasaka shrine and 10min walk from the famous Hanamikoji-dori (geisha district). I can't recommend this place enough, it was delicious! The waiter spoke some English and they had a separate Vegetarian menu with 4 choices! I ordered the curry udon noodles with tofu and a side of seaweed which cost roughly 850Yen. It is labelleled as vegetarian but no dairy is used according to the waiter so a vegan option. Worth checking with the waiter again though! It was nice to see so many locals eating here rather than it being filled with tourists. I would rate this 5 stars but as it is a non-vegetarian restaurant I can only give a maximum of 4 stars.

I stopped by here during a day of sightseeing (great location right by Yasaka shrine) and had the curry udon noodles with fried tofu, and it was delicious and filling.

Pros: good price

Delicious, simple and quick meals

While their vegetarian selection is small, the food is simple and delicious, as well as affordable, with dishes priced between 700 and 850 yen. It is really convenient to explorations in the Gion and Higashiyama districts, and meals come quickly. I would recommend the Ama-kitsune curry udon, as it is a very delicious dish and not easy to find in a vegetarian option (in my experience). The menu said that it used no animal products, so likely a tasty treat for vegans also. At busy times be prepared to line up, but it's worth the small wait.

Pros: Quick, Cheap, Filling
