Very beautiful place, really classy. Food for a vegan classy restaurant was average/ok but nothing spectacular. It’s expensive and we were expecting better than that. We’ve been a little bit pissed for the small slice of chocolate cake with no price on it that comes out at 9€

I had a 'chicken' caesar salad. It was super yummy - a mushroom bacon, not sure what the 'chicken' was, vegan cheese and sauce.

I had an enjoyable meal here. I started with the Neottia, moved on to the Sunshine Bowl and finished off with the crème brûlée. Every course looked great and tasted really good.

Went during lunchtime, had the Sunshine bowl and BLT. The rewievs here made me have high hopes but the food didn't unfortunately meet them. (Note: I'm a junk food lover so your experience may vary.) Small portions and very pricey. Place itself was a bit worn out, the menus were wrinkled and stained, but service was good and genuine.

A recommended vegan restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and polite staff. The burger was ok, and the hummus started didn’t really have the right consistency, but the creme brûlée was to die for!

This place was great. Food was tasty. I would recommend a reservation. I showed up on a Tuesday night and they were packed. That’s usually a good sign. Food was worth the wait.

You must go here! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The menu is varied and all sounded tasty. We both ordered their BLT, which was amazing! The serving was large and the "bacon" aubergine was so good. We got a strawberry cheesecake to finish, was by far the tastiest vegan cheesecake I've had. I think the prices were fair considering the quality and serving size. Would definitely recommend!

The food was delicious, and there were lots of great things on the menu too such as the BLT and the spicy chicken sandwich, both of which I tried. However, for their price the portions were very small. They were tasty and nicely presented but the size was disappointing. Didn't order the burger as they were €16 each! On the plus side, the desserts were delicious and a good quantity, and the staff were all really nice.

This place was so insane we had to come here twice. A little bit pricey but so worth it!! Highly recommend the M.D. burger with cheese / the chicken starter / the BLT!! And all the cakes !! We tried the strawberry cheesecake, hummingbird and peanut butter brownie. The brownie was next level, we came and got more the next day. Also they have the best chips ever here, expect to leave 10 stone heavier

This restaurant is amazing! I had the sunshine bowl 2.0 and my mom the MD burger. As sides we had baked mushrooms and kim chi. The dessert I chose was The Fat Lion. Everything was amazing! Especially the mushrooms.

Read moreOnly downside for us was that when we went here the next day, to try more things from the menu like the pasta, we were told that they are full and kitchen is overwhelmed, so they kind of refused us. Big dissapointment, because we were looking forward to spending another pleasant evening here.

Hands down, one of the best plant based dinners I've had in a long time. Beautiful space , friendly and attentive service and just a really nice place to be - I didn't really want to leave after our meal!
Read moreWe ordered two mains ( beetroot risotto and deconstructed pie) and they were AMPLE in portion sizes. Then two deserts because...well... why not. We left feeling very very VERY well fed and looked after. So glad my friend recommended this place - will definitely be back on my next visit to Amsterdam. Amazing wait staff too who were friendly and playful and helpful. SO good :) Great for a date, ( by the windows with the fairy lights) or with family/ friends. This is an all-rounder.

Cute all vegan spot in Amsterdam! Tagliatelle was yummy, but not spectacular. Wish I would have gone for brunch or tried something else. Service was ok but waiters did speak English, so no complaints. Would definitely try again!

Read moreWe had tried their MD burger and it was super delicious, quite a big portion that is very filling. Still, we could not resist the great selection of desserts, they had 4 cakes (depends on a day) 3 standard dishes.

Stunning place and good food - Edit
When you step into Meatless District, and become part of their stunning interior, you immediately feel stylish. I’ve been here a couple of times and from day one the Caesar Salad has never let me down, it is delicious and creative! I’ve tried other dishes as well, have to admit I do agree with some of the reviews that some dishes could use a ‘spice up’. When I talked to one of the chefs about it, he explained that MD has taken it easy with their spices on request of guests in the past. I really enjoy the entire experience at Meatless District from amazing decor to friendly staff to beautifully presented food, like art pieces you almost don’t want to eat :)
