Nous n'avions pas réservé et il ne restait que deux tables à l'intérieur , un dimanche soir. Terasse sur rue animée. Les portions étaient généreuses... Malheureusement trop pour nous permettre de goûter à la variété des desserts!

great customer service - Edit
Very friendly accommodating staff. We got in without a reservation, and they were very flexible in getting us a table. Our order was mixed up during a busy night, but then gave us a dessert on the house to make up for it. Very pleased with our meals and impressed by staff!

Really nice place! We came here without having a reservation. The staff was really friendly and managed to squeeze us in even though all tables were booked. The burgers were good although they could fine tune the recipe a bit. The french fries and sweet potato fries were excellent. The drinks were simple but tasty. The atmosphere was was well balanced and urban.

Closed early 3 nights in a row - Edit
I don't recommend coming here for dinner. I tried eating here my first night in Amsterdam but it closed an hour earlier than the time posted. The second night, we called ahead to make sure they were still open and to let them know we were coming. They said the kitchen was staying open, but they refused to serve us when we arrived. This time they closed an hour and a half before the posted time.
Read moreI was able to try a dessert on my last night and it was quite dry. The hostess was annoyed and rude. Tried eating here a total of 3 times because of the great reviews and never succeeded.

Good food and service - Edit
We stopped by here on a Thursday night without a reservation. A waitress told us that we could eat in the waiting area (which apparently some people had chosen to do), but we said we didn't mind waiting for a table. Even though she told us it would be about 45 minutes, we luckily were seated in about 15 minutes at a high top table with stools, which we liked because it was near the window for good people watching. Since it was very busy that night, service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind as we weren't rushing to get anywhere. We ordered drinks and the lentil appetizer. My gin and ginger ale drink was amazing! My husband also likes his Dark and Stormy (rum and ginger beer). The lentil app was just ok for me in the beginning but it grew on me as I ate it. It definitely was a beautiful dish. My husband ordered the cauliflower steak, which was delicious, but be aware that it's spicy. I ordered the burger and fries (which were a little over-fried). The burger, though, was quite tasty and huge. I could only finish half of it. All in all, we are glad we tried this restaurant and would definitely go again.

It's Ok - Edit
My boyfriend liked his plate, although pretty simple; an avocado sandwich, then he also had fries with vegan mayo which tasted really nice. I ordered a salad which was inside a mason jar, because I thought it sounded different, but in reality its just not as good as eating a salad in a salad bowlplate. the salad was OK nothing to write home about. there doesn't seem to be a lot of passion in their cooking.

Pretty good - Edit
Went here for dinner on a tuesday night, place was pretty full but they could still get us a table, which was very nice. We ordered drinks first. My friend(who's not vegan) ordered an iced tea which contained honey?? While the menu said the place was 100% vegan...! We also ordered food, my 2 friends and me ordered a burger (sweet patato/patato fries included!!!) and my other friend a cauliflower steak. The burgers and fries were so GOOD, really amazing, the cauliflower steak was very spicy, which it didn't say on the menu. As dessert 2 of my friends had a chocolat fudge cake which was pretty good, and me and my friend had a chocolat/coffee/banana/pistachio parfait which costs €7,50 but really tasted like a smoothie with banana and cocoa so not really amazing. For the four of us we paid €100 euros for drink, main dish and dessert which is an okay price! Would go there again maybe for lunch, but wouldnt order the parfait again..lol

great vibe, looks lovely, fab staff - Edit
Very busy but they squeezed us in.staff absolutely lovely and didn't wait too long for food. Burger and chips were ok- the artiest ketchup smudge we've had yet; gnocchi looked amazing, but lacked taste or acidity, unfortunately- could've done with some salt and nutritional yeast in the cooking and it would've been very good. But pricey for the quality of food, but more than worth it for atmosphere and lovely buzz.

Beautifully done out restaurant with great food. Descriptions weren't quite accurate of food (v spicy cauliflower steak which was nice but unexpected!) but we had two great dishes nonetheless. Loved the fully vegan menu! Friendly staff, fast service, had a nice buzz about it :)

Great for when you want to go a bit fancier! - Edit
I've been here two times, and it has never disappointed. Everything I've had has been absolutely delicious, and the service has always been on point. It's not on the super cheap side, but it's definitely a place I'd go to when eating out, or celebrating a special occasion. I'd advise to make a reservation as it can get quite busy!

Caesar salad & raspberry cheesecake - must try! - Edit
I'd visited twice before and the food was good but not excellent. Decided to visit again after seeing the new menu. We had the chicken caesar salad, bellito envelopes, fries, raspberry cheesecake and raw chocolate pudding. The caesar salad was a real stand out - beautiful combination of textures and flavours, and very good portion size for a main. Planning to go back again just for this dish. The bellito was presented beautifully but really lacking in flavour. The raspberry cheesecake was lovely - had that real dairy "tang" flavour minus the suffering - highly recommended. I'd skip the raw choc pudding though, just didn't hit the spot. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice - warm but not overcrowded.

Trendy place - Edit
Let's start with the best: they serve amazing vegan nachos between 16:00 and 18:00! We also had a very good soup, but the mains weren't as good as we would expect. It's not that they weren't tasty, but with all the hype around MD we were expecting to be blown away with their food. Dessert (from DopHert, another place in Amsterdam) was very good. Staff was very friendly.

great food, quite expensive - Edit
Lovely place, one night had a coffee only as kitchen was closed and next day had teas and the MD cheese burger. Was really nice and well presented. My only complaint is that it was expensive for 15 or 16 euros! Plus they could do better with the bread - it was just a cheap sesame seed burger bun. Some people have noted bad service but both times I went the service was amazing!

Great vibe and cool evening venue. Starters were tasty we had the Mushroom Pate and the Roasted Cauli, our mains where not as a good. The burger bun was quite dry, the chips & roasted sprouts particularly oily - not very enjoyable. Non alcoholic Hugo Spritz was tasty. Our server was fab & looked after us very well. Thank you Meatless District ☮️?

Great vegan food in Amsterdam! - Edit
The Meatless District is a great vegan option in Amsterdam. The food menu is very creative and the food is also delicious! The service is efficient and friendly. Prices are a little high but the creative food is worth it. Reservations are recommended. Though we did not have reservations, we were allowed to sit in the reception area and then move to a table once one became available. The "chicken" is the closest thing to real as we have had which could be good or bad... Presentation is beautiful.
