Pure deliciousness, even for meat eaters - Edit
Our vegan burgers were to-die-for. Not exaggerating. Sweet potato fries on point. Note that I took my boyfriend out with me, who's very skeptical of vegan cuisine, and he really enjoyed both burgers, the kimchi and the seitan one. Service was pretty quick and friendly enough. Only con for me really was the price. 17 euros for one burger + fries excl drinks is expensive. At the same time, the flavour was spot on which is the whole point so... whenever I have an extra to splurge on I'm going back.

The Meatless District was too expensive. The prices were unreasonable and the portions we got were so small that we were still hungry when we left. Don't eat there if you're expecting to become satisfied. We won't go there again.

Was in a rush. Asked for takeaway burger with NO sauce... mayo, etc. Get to my hotel and this disgusting over sauced and messy thing went into the garbage. I wanted the curry, but they couldn't accommodate that as takeaway. What a WASTE of my time and money. Walked an hour looking for this place. LAME. Simple order.

Best vegan restaurant ever. The food taste really great. We had no reserved table and the restaurant was fully booked. But the waiter found a cozy place in the Corner and we felt very welcome. Thank you for that. Because we really had a great experience. Very relax atmosphere. Dedicated staff.

This is truly a high-end gourmet restaurant with very tasty options that are highly over priced. A bit of an over-hyped tourist destination. I ordered the Tortellini dish as an appetizer to share with someone else and only received three quarter-sizes pieces of Tortellini for 9 Euros. A meal to make you full here (a few dishes) may run you about 100+/person. The cheese plate tasted so much like sharp parmesan cheese (great if you had pasta to try it with). They only serve snacks until dinner. I was disappointed that they would not let you order fresh juices for dinner. No fresh OJ. Everything was beautiful on the plates and felt very gourmet. Make a reservation for dinner here if you decide to go.

This place was a last minute find for us but by far the best vegan meal we had in Amsterdam. We had the cheeseburger, creme brulee, and ice-cream sandwich, which was all incredibly tasty. The restaurant was spacious with a nice atmosphere and lovely staff.

First of all I wanna say that the food was great. Everything looked perfectly put together on the plate, there were interesting combinations of flavors and textures and absolutely everyone can enjoy these meals, not only vegans. The restaurant was fully booked on a Sunday evening and we saw as people who didn’t have a reservation got turned down. so we were lucky that we came early to even get a table. The only reason why I didn’t give a 5- point rating is because of the slow service. But that’s totally understandable considering there are only about 3 people in the kitchen and 3 waitresses. So if you want to eat here just take it easy and don’t be in a rush. And don’t forget to book your table in advance!

One of the more proper restaurants in Amsterdam that are fully vegan, as opposed to junkfood oriented places. I really enjoyed the dinner we had here on Valentine’s Day. The only con is that the portions are rather small.

After reading glowing reviews, we were excited to eat here. The appetizers were mediocre at best, but the entrees were just plain awful. We were charged about €17 for three pieces of defrosted Gardein fish filets with a handful of fries and mashed up peas, that was presented as some culinary achievement under the name of “fish and chips”. There were hardly any vegetables but peas in the other entree- risotto was flavorless and over salted. This is a pretentious, overpriced restaurant that should be avoided.
