More than enough! We were stuffed!
Courses followed swiftly.
Only minus was the 'charcoal toast', which was ... very hard, like charcoal 😄😄
And it wasn't really warm in the room and there was a lot of noise from nearby building construction works, but they cant help that.
Friendly service.
An 'optional' service charge of 12,5% is automatically added to the bill.
Toilets are upstairs. Very clean. (love the tiles!!). Didnt see an accessible toilet.

We found the food here just average unfortunately, perhaps too much going on with lots of full-flavoured elements which taste okay on their own but all blended together don't really work. The written menu is pretentious with lots of fancy terms. Staff were very good with a positive & polite attitude, the seating was fine but the music is a constant horrible background noise underneath customer chatter which needs to be turned off. Automatically adding service charge to the bill is another unwanted addition - customers should be free to add a tip as and when they want - not be pressured into doing so. When rating, the cost needs to be a factor and the food doesn't really match the price - the chips for example need to be better. So overall, it's okay if you are a vegan and are in the area, but it's not great and could be better.

First time dining at Mallow. Convenient location. We had the lunch tasting menu which was £38 each. We live in an expensive food city, so £38 per person is a bargain price for a full tasting menu! The staff, interiors and the food presentations are lovely. We had mock cocktails and wine which were great and paired well with the menu. The menu was a fusion of flavors. Overall the food was good, but a few dishes were a slight miss. Of course, this is a personal preference. Many others may find every dish to be equally delicious. I like bold flavors, some spice and acidity balance. Worth a visit if you’re looking for vegan in London.

Read moreThe menu leans Indian, and my son wasn't hungry, so I only ordered the vada pao, and the makhani mille feuille (which is basically potato cubes) and coconut rice.
The vada pao is Indian street/snack food and Mallow elevated it. It was just too spicy for me and the leaves (they weren't mint) they put were very bitter and off putting to me.
The potato cubes were interesting. They were layered and the cut into cubes and the makhani sauce was nice.
Service: The place seemed empty, but I was told I could only sit at the bar or have a table for one hour. It was still pretty empty when I left - not sure why the rush. They also didn't have change for cash so my options were omit the service charge, or pay via credit (I paid via credit). I also had a different person to serve me in the middle of my meal who was way nicer than the person who seated me and took my order.
Overall - I was underwhelmed. It was fancy Indian food, but the space was rather casual (not sure if they had different seating upstairs) and it was just too spicy for me to enjoy properly. I ended up gulping it down with tons of water and boxing up what I didn't eat to enjoy later in my hotel when my mouth fire calmed down.

My partner surprised me for my birthday with a booking at this restaurant. As a vegan, when visiting London, I always try to dine at vegan only venues and this most certainly did not disappoint!!
Read moreMatt especially made our visit wonderful with his attentiveness and lovely nature. Shar also added a shine to our night with her upbeat and welcoming attitude. We ordered the sharing menu and it was superb, we left with satisfied tastebuds and smiles on our faces.
Everything from the sensational food, to the brilliant service was perfect! Can’t recommend this place enough and I sure hope to visit again.

This is my second visit to a Mallow restaurant and I will definitely keep coming back. The variety in the menu is amazing. This time we tried the Muhammara Borek which was filo pastry filled with aubergine - pastry will light, crispy and so rich in flavour! We also tried the makhani Mille feuille which were crispy layered potatoes in a spicy curry sauce - these were amazing and I could have eaten 5 bowls! Finally we had the French toast - if you have a sweet tooth you must get this! The salted caramel ice cream and chocolate sauce were both perfect and together with the vanilla cream and cinnamon sugar it was beyond tasty! I also had an iced latte that was very good. Can’t talk more highly of this place!
