Great but very pricey - Edit
We were welcomed extraordinary kindly and liked the place from the first minute. The menu offers very interesting dishes - I tried the oyster mushroom skewers. That small dish came with a lot of taste, but had a proud price: 19.5 £ for I think 4 mushrooms, 1 onion and a cucumber salad.

Those damn pancakes are so good, and worth every calorie.

The service is a little slow and some servers are happier than others. But otherwise, the food is delicious!
The full English breakfast was also a hit, even the bread was like wow!!

This place has a very cute atmosphere and every dish was so delicious. We got two entrees each to have something both sweet and savory and it was all perfect. The tiramisu pancakes were creative and the full English breakfast was just classic. Very attentive and kind staff too!

Next visit was the sharing lunch with a couple of extra recommended plates - well worth the price as it is a lot of food plus desserts are £6.

Great stop and location in Borough which is not far from London Bridge. All vegan.

Upstairs feels a lot airy and comfortable if you go.

I visited Mallow at Borough Market to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. We shared the pita, hummus, charred leek bharta, mojo rojo croquettes, and Mallow Chick n Burger. Everything was great, but the hummus and mojo rojo croquettes were the highlights!

Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious plant-based food and excellent service. It’s now at the top of my list of favorite vegan restaurants in London. Highly recommend!

Update: had the Market Menu dinner on this visit-- nine different dishes brought in groups of three. Plus the Ras Malai Cheesecake for dessert. Delicious and would do it again.

Lovely Dinner Celebration - Edit
The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are lovely. We have been here a couple times and the Truffle lasagna is always a hit! This time we were celebrating a birthday and our server Kat brought us some delicious chocolate cake. She always made sure we were taken care of and really made the night special.

I've been three times and the staff are genuine, the food is outstanding, seasonal and delicious. I must go in a big group once so I can try the whole menu! Real spices, herbs and flavour combinations. Delightful.

I think the previous menus were a bit better, some of the small plates felt a bit overpriced (don’t recommend the black sesame toast). The restaurant itself is lovely, but always prefer Mildred’s a bit more.

Delllliiiciiiiooouusss! I understand the acclaim around Mallow. Not only was the entire restaurant vibe and aesthetic totally delightful, cheerful, colorful and comfortable but for a higher-end vegan spot, it felt really accessible and welcoming. They change the menu every 6 months (I believe) and so the day I ate was the last day before they released their spring and summer menu.
Read moreDishes - so delicious! I ordered the focaccia with the onion butter. The focaccia was airy and fluffy. The butter is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! They never make the same butter again and I’ve never had a vegan butter so smooth, creamy, delicious and flavorful. Then I had their Masala and rice - which was equal parts spice and flavor, it was so balanced.
Service - fine. They are not quick to respond or serve.
Environment - soooo pretty!
