One of the best in London! - Edit
Quite honestly one of the most wonderful vegan restaurants in London. A beautiful and carefully designed menu that leaves you with the difficult decision on what to order!
Read moreMenu changes seasonally but during my visit I enjoyed the Zucchini Lasagna Bianca which was finished in the pan and served on a base of roast garlic and lemon cream. I added a herb salad on the side. It was beyond delicious and my only regret is that I couldn’t pick up the plate and lick it at the end. I couldn’t skip dessert and went with the Chikki Sticky Toffee spiced date cake with salted caramel ice cream and peanut toffee sauce which was again, delicious.
Mallow is housed in a beautiful old building in the historic Borough Market, just a short walk away from the River Thames. An absolute winner!

We managed to be very late for our booking, but fortunately they were able to seat us. After a hectic day and negotiating the Borough Market crowds, it was a haven of calm but efficient tranquility.
Read moreWe ordered a selection of small plates as we were in a rush and they came out quickly. They did not disappoint. Lots of interesting flavours that we both wolfed down. The flat bread came in handy for mopping up the flavoursome sauces that came with the padron peppers and makhani millefeuille.
We shared the raspberry and pistachio tart, which was amazing. Neither of us has a particularly sweet tooth so we were delighted with deliciously tart raspberry coulis.
Staff were attentive and checked everything was okay for us. While the place was reasonably busy, it was later in the afternoon, well after lunchtime so the atmosphere was much more relaxed.
We intend to go back and try the tasting menu.

We stopped in here for a light lunch so just ordered off the small plates menu. The mushroom croquettes were creamy and delicious, and the aubergine came with a miso sauce that was exceptionally tasty. Lots of nice cocktails on the menu, too. This is a great place to stop after a walk through Borough market.

I have been to Mallow twice now and enjoyed my meals tremendously. The first time I had the laksa, my friend had a filo pastry with aubergine and what exactly the starter was, I can't remember. The second time I had a curry, my friend had the lasagne, we shared an aubergine starter and the black tea chickpeas, and had chocolate cake and crème brûlée as desserts. I have to say that Mallow use more oil than I do at home (as I'm quite sensitive) so my stomach is usually not super happy for a little while after, but I enjoy the food so much that I don't care and eat it anyway.

First time we visited Mallow. The place was good to find in Borough. And it is adviced to make a reservation upfront.
Read moreWe ordered the burger, masala and borek as main. Delicious. Masala was nice and spicy, burger had amazing fries and was really tasty though spicy.
As desert we had the chocolate mouse, creme brulee and the sticky toffee pudding. All three very good. I cannot say which would be my favorite. For me all of them where 🔝

Went here for lunch one day, but we arrived a little before 12 so we had to order from the breakfast menu. We liked it so much that we came again the 2nd day, but for breakfast! Food was delicious and a fair price. We told the waitress we were in a rush the 2nd day and they easily had us out the door within 45m. Easily some of the best vegan food I've ever had and I live near Portland, OR USA.

Mallow restaurants are the BEST vegan restaurants in London - Edit
The venue is fresh and light, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is exceptional. Mallow is the perfect place to introduce meat eaters to delicious, appetising, beautifully presented food. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

We went for bunch and only tried a couple of the dishes which were tasty. We ordered the Kim chi croque which was different, nice flavours and the full English which was very good!

Starters were definitely better than the mains so I would really recommend getting as many starters to try as possible and splitting between you.
I love that the menu changes seasonally and the staff were very attentive even bringing out a little surprise dessert for one of our parties birthday!
I loved Mildred’s and I loved mallow. Doing great things for the vegan community.

Had a delicious meal here. Varied menu, completely plant based, I would’ve loved to have tried everything. I had makhani potato mille feuille and lasagna. Really tasty. Very good glass of wine to wash it down with too. It wasn’t a cheap night out, but I’m also not used to London…! Definitely need a return visit!
