We enjoyed our meals! Pinsa (basically like pizza but a lighter, more airy crust - still thin) options were abundant. Tiramisu was tasty as well. Super friendly service.

Wonderful vegan choices - Edit
Me and my partner were craving a salad bowl and found exactly what we were looking for at Buddy's. Their menu caters for various options (pasta, salads, pizzas, burgers) and everything tasted delicious. The blueberry jam tart I had for dessert was to die for. Strongly recommended.

I had a pinse primavera, Caesar salad, and the tiramisu. It was all good! The best part was the “chicken” on the salad, and the tiramisu cream was delicious.

Really very tasty food. We chose spaghetti with gorgonzola, tempeh with arugula, vegan cheese and truffle. The food is a little more expensive than average, but extremely tasty! It's definitely worth a visit!

I ate here three nights in a row while I was in Rome last week. I had the Carbonara, the Amitriciana, and the truffle pasta. I also tried the potato pizza, and various appetizers. The carbonara was hands down my favorite. Perfect balance of spice and creaminess. An incredible dish. But the rest were great too! The pizza was gone in about two minutes. Also, the tiramisu was excellent. Sit outside for an amazing view. It's so nice to be able to eat great Italian food without worrying about cross-contamination. It's easy to eat vegan in Rome, but it's even easier with a place like this. Can't wait to come back.

Sadly I think we chose poorly when we ordered the 'Chicken' burger. Was very plain and extremely overpriced. I think the price point comes from the location, which is a shame. Much nicer and cheaper places a bit further out! Can't fault the servers! :)

The waiter was so friendly.
Ordered our food. I had a 4 cheese pizza and my husband carbonara.
Well the food was absolutely delicious!!! Came out really quickly too. Large portions.
The vegan cheese just tasted like cheese!
Even if you’re not vegan I’d 100 percent recommend.
All of the staff were so lovely and such hard workers.
What an absolute treat to find vegan food!! We’ll be back before we head home to the UK!

Nicely decorated and spacious interior with plants, indoor and outside seating. I tried the Lasagna, which was good. I was still a little hungry after it so I wanted to order the avocado Bruschetta but half size, unfortunately it was not possible to order half the portion.

We had several dishes, plus drinks. Whilst a little more expensive than other places, we were happy to pay that in the centre of Rome. Food was excellent and the staff were great.

Nice place in the center of Rome. We ordered two pasta (carbonara and cacio e pepe) and an avocado tartare. The avocado was not salty nor with pepper or spices of any kind, the pasta was swimming in cheese and oil and I found like 6-7 hair in it as I told to the waiter he said the hair fell of from the kitchen to the table. I didnt eat it and I still had to pay for it.

The food was bad! The vegan cheese on the pasta was just chemical taste and had a horroble aftertaste also it didn’t add anything. The vegan bacon was also absolutely pointless for the meal. I think they just wanted to immitate existing recipes instead of just making their own vegan varieties. The staff was kind though

Ahh I really wanted to love Buddy, but the first time I went my pasta wasn’t cooked all the way. I decided to give in another chance and got a beyond burger, but it was really lacking in flavor. My partner had better luck with their dishes though, and the tiramisu was great.

Sooo I have given this place 3 stars based on the meal I ordered. The facon carbonara basically - and I wasn’t that impressed. I felt the pasta was slightly undercooked and the creamy sauce just wasn’t tasty and missing something. The garlic focaccia was amazing though!! Maybe I would’ve given 5 stars if I had ordered something different. A lovely place though and super friendly staff, as I had an issue with the payment when the money appeared to have accidentally been taken twice and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
