A must for vegans visiting Rome! - Edit
The staff was so cool and friendly! There is no printed menu, you just look it up on their website and order using that (they have free Wifi so don't worry about your data usage)

Came here 3.5 years ago and it was pretty good. Better this time. Service is a little slow for this American, but that’s probably more my mindset then a fault of the place. We coffees and pizzas. The tune pizza was a real standout and I would suggest if you find yourself missing that fishy taste.

La scelta sul menù è variegata, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Io ho optato per un antipasto e un secondo.
L’unica pecca è, a mio avviso, non portare il pane (che io ritengo essere d’obbligo insieme a un primo o un secondo), ma offrirlo a pagamento come extra.
Ho letto alcune recensioni che menzionavano le porzioni piccole. Effettivamente in Italia è abbastanza normale e, quindi, il prezzo appare un po’ alto agli occhi di gente forestiera.
Il servizio, sì, è un po’ lento rispetto allo standard però a me non ha dato fastidio, anzi. Apprezzo quando c’è più calma e ci si gode il lento passare del tempo, soprattutto in vacanza. Magari non ci andrei se fossi di fretta durante la pausa pranzo.

Buddy Veggy was incredible both in food and service! They have a very expansive menu including many classic vegan dishes made vegan. They also have a nice selection of vegan wines. Our server was helpful with recommendations and also very passionate about veganism! We got the cutting board for an appetizer and my partner says it was the best vegan cheese he has ever had. For our meal we got the carbonara and spaghetti with truffle. The both pastas were creamy and flavorful. It was the best vegan carbonara I had in Rome! For dessert our server recommended the tiramisu and hazelnut cheesecake. The tiramisu had a subtle coffee flavor with rich texture. The cheesecake was almost a mousse consistency and absolutely lovely! Prices were a little expensive but very worth it for the quality of the food. I would 100% eat here again!

Staff and atmosphere were amazing. Food was nothing to write home about. Our table tried 3 pastas which were all a bit lackluster but filling. Had the pizzetta for dessert which was fun. Good wine, would maybe return for a pizza or to try the brunch but will be trying other veg places during my stay instead.

We were in Rome for four days and every single day we had to go there because it was so great. The food is absolutly delicious, the staff was nice and friendly, the atmosphere lovely... It is classic Italian (vegan) food. We definitly recommend this place!!!

I read the reviews and I was expecting more! It’s not bad, but not the best pasta.. anyway it’s worthy. I had the Gricia pasta and my husband the carbonara.

Tiramisu was a bit disappointing - mainly cream and my husband waited 30 minutes for his dessert which was vegan Nutella pizza. He tells me it was worth the wait.

The food is delicious (we had pizza, pasta and hamburgers) and the staff is very kind (special mention to René, a Brazilian waiter who works there and was lovely to us).
Its a 10 out of 10 definitely!

Nice Restaurant and really friendly staff but it’s really pricey and the portion was a bit small, I had the pasta carbonara wich was nothing special and salt was missing. The service was brilliant though and the pasta was ready super fast.

We couldn’t find any other vegan restaurants near us when we stayed in Rome (I didn’t have HappyCow at the time), so this was pretty much the only place me and my boyfriend ate at and we didn’t mind at all. We had a few different dishes throughout our stay and they were all amazing, 10/10

Must try vegan restaurant - Edit
Right in the centre of Rome, we went to Buddy in the evening and the atmosphere was really chilled and relaxing. The server was really helpful and food arrived quickly. The menu is really extensive (everything from pasta and pizza to burgers and brunch - plus dessert options). And it's all completely vegan - but also impressed our non-vegan friends. As mentioned elsewhere it's a little pricey but it's well worth it. You should definitely stop off here while in Rome.
