We booked but it was pretty empty around 7pm on a Friday. Pasta and pizza options for vegans, their mozzarella pizza was great and also their pesto gnocchi.

There were so many options on the menu. We had the vegan cacio e pépé and seitan ravioli for main. Both were delicious. We also tried a vegan tiramisu for pudding - one of four vegan pudding choices on the menu! The staff were great and were very proud to be so vegan friendly.

Es war grossartig. Die vegane Lasagne war so lecker das ich direkt wieder gekommen bin. Die Besitzerin ist selber vegan und hat mir bei meinem zweiten Besuch noch einen gratis Limoncello offeriert und man hat sich nett Unterhalten. Auch die Pizza und das vegane Tiramisu waren fantastisch. Das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich werde wieder hier her kommen wenn ich wieder in Rom bin.

We chose this restaurant, because I wanted to try a vegan tiramisù in Rome, and also because they had non-vegan options for my boyfriend.
Read moreWe arrived around 13:00, so in the middle of lunch service and we were lucky as we could sit down to the last table. The server was nice, brought us the menus, the allergens were labelled clearly, they got our order, but the service was really slow. We had to wait at least 1 hour to get our pizzas! Which really changed out experience, because the ‘Mezzaluna vegana’ was really good! We then ordered a vegan tiramisù, which looked good, but unfortunately wasn’t as tasty as I expected it to be.

I appreciate the effort, offering a large number of vegan options, but there were too many things that went wrong. Firstly, the food was not great and I’m honestly very perplexed about all of the raving reviews. As I am traveling with someone who is not vegan, we thought this would be a good option for both of us. Unfortunately, it wasn’t great for either of us. The most notable thing for me was that my pasta (carbonara) was wildly salty and bland— and for those who know me, I eat a massive amount of salt, so it’s a surprise to anyone to hear this from me.
Read moreThe other problematic thing for me was cleanliness. The restaurant could use a very good cleaning. For example, as I walked to the bathroom, there were five moths on the walls leading to the bathrooms. The bathroom themselves were really disgusting. As we were waiting for our food, I saw an employee eating food from the ingredients station for the pizzas. The glass partition between the pizza area and the tables was extremely filthy. There were drip marks down the walls in some areas in the restaurant, which either need cleaning or painting. The lack of attention to cleanliness at this restaurant really didn’t sit well with me.

Great veganized Roman dishes - Edit
Went here twice for lunch so I could try vegan versions of classic Roman dishes and it was a good option for a mixed group of vegans and non-vegans. I really liked the vegan suppli, spaghetti carbonara, and diavola pizza. Salads were huge and tasty. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere is nothing special.

The menu has many well marked vegan options. We ate there twice during our stay and had the pizza both times. I’m still thinking about it…so tasty. The crust was perfect, great quality toppings and vegan cheese like I’ve never tasted before. I’m sure their other dishes are just as amazing!

We went here as they had vegan options on the menu clearly marked. Always happy to see dedicated vegan options on a menu but the food was mid at best. Quite salty with a lot of vegan cheese on top leaving a bitter after taste. Would prefer food that was naturally vegan made well. But nice to be able to order without asking a million questions !

I’ve had the most amazing food from Origano. I’m vegan and was worried about finding somewhere to eat in Rome. But I thankfully discovered this restaurant on my second day and I’ve eaten here 4 days in a row. The food is unbelievable and I’ve not had a better lasagne ever.

My favourites have been the bruschetta, vegan lasagne and vegan tiramisu.
The place was always busy with Italians and tourists. And both meat eaters and veggies / vegans.
Both inside and outside are great and the service is fantastic.
They were amazing and patient with me while I practised my Italian.
I just wish the app could let me give it 5 stars.

Lovely surprise, excellent pizza - Edit
We’ve had much better pizza there than in some other (fully vegan) places in Rome. We’ve had pizza diavola and capricciosa. Both were excellent, delicious and even the vegan mozzarella and salami were very tasty (not the usual non quality coco fat cheese we usually get on vegan pizza). I sincerely recommend visiting this place. The stuff is very helpful and vegan dishes are clearly labelled. There are vegan choices of antipasti, primi, secondi and even desserts.
