Tasty, Affordable, Friendly. The best! - Edit
Buddy Veggy gave me the best vegan experience on the 1st day in Rome. The location is easily accessible and located at the corner of intersection where people can see. Foods were very tasty, generous amount, simple plating, affordable price. The owner is a vegan and all the staffs were friendly and nice to answer some questions. I will definitely come back during my trip in Rome!

We tried the supplì which was good but needed a bit more cheeze, the pinsa diavola was very good, and the cacio e pepe was very tasty and creamy!

Good location for a vegan lunch while sightseeing - Edit
The world should have more restaurants like Buddy Veggy. It’s not fine dining and they don’t make all the ingredients from scratch in-house. For example the pizzas use delicious fresh house-made dough but commercially available brands of vegan cheese. I would go back to Buddy because it’s affordable, quick, convenient, and most importantly vegan!

Buddy Veggy (a vegan tourist trap) - Edit
This is essentially a vegan tourist trap and it’s very overhyped on HappyCow. I found the food and drinks very underwhelming. The vegan breakfast was not my favorite and it was very expensive at 16€ for this dish. The tofu scramble seemed like it was made with oil and turmeric only. The beans were not good at all. There was brown lettuce mixed in the salad and the dressing was too lemony, but the slices of avocado were fine. The oat cappuccino was my least favorite in Rome, the flavor was bad and it didn’t even taste like coffee (and it was 4.50€, which was offensive). Worst yet, they didn’t bring this drink until we were paying/leaving, so we had to take it in a takeaway-cup despite telling them we didn’t want it anymore since it was meant to be consumed with our breakfast. Nevertheless, when they gave us the drink it was already cold.

Se agradece encontrar un restaurante 100% vegano en el centro de Roma. Comimos supli de arroz negro riquísimo, pasta carbonara y otra con setas y trufa. Más rica la de trufa. La carbonara estaba un poco grasienta.

Unfortunately we discovered this pearl after we had a dinner, so we ordered only desserts. And they were WOW. The tiramisu and the cheesecake with fruits were both amazingly great. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair.

Read moreI was in Rome for just two days, and even though the city is full of vegan options, I ended up returning to this place again and again -I simply couldn’t leave. The food here is exceptional: delicious, thoughtful, beautifully presented, nourishing, and made with high-quality ingredients that feel good in the body and soul.
Every dish was prepared incredibly fast, the wine arrived right away, and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and designed in a way that immediately makes you feel held and welcomed. The waiter was kind, sweet, and efficient - honestly one of the fastest service experiences I’ve ever had.
But beyond the outstanding food, I want to thank them for the heart they put into their work. For their dedication, for the love behind every plate, and for making the world a better place. Because of them, animals can breathe a little easier. Their commitment to ethical, mindful, compassionate food is something I deeply appreciate.
During my entire stay in Rome, I chose to eat only there -not because I didn’t have other options, but because I had absolutely no reason to go anywhere else. I just wanted to try everything on the menu. I prefer raw or highly nutritious food, nothing junky, nothing empty -and this place delivered perfection every single time.
I can’t wait to return to Rome and continue exploring their incredible, vibrant, nourishing menu.

The space is very welcoming and well located. The food is amazing, you have vegan versions of italian dishes and even the option of gluten free pizza! We loved it. The pumpkin soup with vegan parmesan was super tasty.

This place was fantastic! An entirely vegan menu, with cracking food to go with it. We were able to enjoy antipasti, our respective pasta dishes (carbonara for me, lasagna for my partner), and a lovely oreo tiramisù to finish! The carbonara was flavourful and creamy; brilliant portion sizes too (we actually struggled to finish!)

Buddy vegan, low key worth it considering I went to a local cafe and even though we ordered soy cappuccino (for allergy reasons) they gave us the normal dairy ones. It's a little bit expensive but you can't put a price on piece of mind. 🙏

I was really disappointed. The meal looked good but the sauce had no flavour and could hardly taste the mushrooms. The only thing that had flavour was the vegan sausage thing in the pasta.
Read moreI was also really annoyed there was a hidden 2€ "service charge". On the menu it said it was for the water they put on the table so I didn't drink it but no, just being served. If they specify it on being seated that's one thing but to surprise you with it is so annoying.
Would not recommend this place unfortunately.
