Delicious and inventive, with veganized traditional Portuguese dishes & seafood! - Edit
Delicious and very innovative. All vegan. Enjoyed trying vegan versions of traditional Portuguese and Lisboa dishes, especially “seafood”. Used lots of seaweed/nori but didn’t feel like it “mimicked” meat. I dined alone and ordered a few “starters” so as to sample some things: fried cuttlefish (mushroom), “sardines” with sweet chilis on toast, and “octopus” salad on bread (bread is mostly sourdough/natural/low-gluten). Will definitely go back to try more things! An array of starters to share with someone would be a nice way to dine here. I keep a low-gluten diet so did not order anything with seitan, etc. though they have lots of dishes with seitan-based “sausage”, etc.

Not so great - Edit
It was not my favourite vegan restaurant. I ate much better here. The soup was great and the People were super friendly. But the main course was not that great.

Great spot in Lisbon - Edit
I went to this restaurant a couple years ago and forgot to leave a review but I definitely still think about the food sometimes rofl. Very yummy food, quite affordable for Lisbon. Would like to come back when I have the chance. The only complaint I had at the time was that I ordered a 4€ creme brulee and the bowl was more than half empty and it wasn't even that good, I felt robbed lol

Addictive.... - Edit
Our favourite vegan restaurant when we go to Lisbon. I really love their new menu with the veganised Portuguese fish dishes. We tried several of them and the fishy taste was truly satisfying. Of course you can't leave Ao 26 without eating on of the mouthwatering deserts.

some raw veggies but otherwise amazing - Edit
the soup was great, i loved the cheese platter as well, the vegan steak or whatever it is was one of the best i ever tried. the vegetables around it, including potatoes, for some reason were quite raw which was unpleasant. the giant mushroom in the other meal was also very raw/chewy, but the pasta was good. overall i think it's great, but they should take care of the vegetable rawness

Okay food - Edit
Reading all of the reviews made me really want to try this place! We ordered the inspired vegan fish starter which sadly only tasted like yoghurt and pickles. My main dish (tempeh) was good, yet the main dish my boyfriend has (bifana burger) was totally sour as well! Maybe other dishes were good but 2/3 were totally sour ..

Excellent vegan lunch - Edit
Delightful service from the outset and good quality fresh ingredients made a great lunch. We had the soup of the day, bread platter, roasted veg sandwich, seitan steak, sweet potato fries, creme brûlée and snickers chocolate cake. Everything was super. They had baked Camembert on the menu too which we didn’t have space to try but hopefully we’ll be able to go back another time.

It is really expensive for what you get. The food was bad but it wasn’t great either and the portion was really small and I was really hungry which may have affect my feelings. But it was definitely disappointing

Options to die for - Edit
It’s all vegan and with some of the dishes, it’s hard to believe that’s true. Very small space, but it does fit quite a few guests. I was there for lunch by myself and due to the size it felt like I was being watched all the time, which was a bit uncomfortable in some moments. But let me tell you, they offer dishes that you didn’t think you’d ever have again when going vegan. I tried the ‚sardines‘ on the bread, the ‘inlander‘ which was pretty fishy too, as well as the peanut butter/chocolate pie which reminded me of Reeses. Only downside would be the prices, which are in the upper range (for Lisbon at least).

Cons: Reservation (or good luck) necessary to… , …get a table right away.
