Many an hour of mine is spent trawling through the menus of local eateries in hope of striking gold, and in this place, I hit a rich vein.
Read moreThe venue itself was inviting and calm space, especially the outside area, which I took full advantage of on what proved to be a glorious October evening at the time of my visit. Despite not being the cheapest of restaurants I’ve visited, I did feel as though the dishes that I had the pleasure of eating, the burger and the bolognaise, did just about warrant their cost. The primary element that nudged these plates to be worthy of their price tag was the Switch plant-based meat. A locally produced product, it was extremely flavourful and texturally very satisfying.
I doubt that I would make this spot a regular haunt, but I would be keen to return to try more of what they have to offer.
