Got the “avalanche” and the pancakes were insanely good along with the delicious sausage, eggs, home fries, and peppers and onions. If you have the opportunity go, such good food and staff

Good food - Edit
So the food was amazing. Traveling over 5 hours for an event and stopped here. Almost willing to drive the 5 hours again just for the tiger bites and delicious ranch! I don't have many vegan restaurants near me. Although the food was amazing my server was not. He didn't check up on my table once and did not seem to be in a good mood. He was more occupied with other customers. I understand this but was really hoping for something better I guess. Food made up for it.

wish I had the place back home - Edit
Came out to SLC for business and thanks to HappyCow I found this gem. Clean and great atmosphere. Completely vegan with scratch made everything. I don’t typically eat biscuits and gravy but so glad I decided to go for it because it was awesome!! Added a pancake with blueberries and my morning was set.

Total Vegan - Edit
This is a total vegan restaurant. I love the food here, great potato fries, sandwiches are fantastic and may be more then you can eat in one sitting. They have pancakes with real maple syrup. Prices are reasonable, $$.

Expected better flavours - Edit
As a Londoner trying her first American vegan diner food... it was very American - unhealthy and highly processed.
Read moreWouldn't have minded if the taste was amazing, but it was all a bit meh for me.
I went for breakfast and ordered the mountain, with bacon tempeh and the sausage, but couldn't tell which one was supposed to be which. One was a fried circle patty, the other was a few thick biscotti shaped things. Neither one was particularly reminiscent of bacon or sausage. Not awful, but bland.
Portion sizes were good.
They have plug sockets and wifi, which was great as I got some work done there. They did offer to change my dish when I said I didn't love it, but I feel it's as much my palate as their fault.
I think I probably would have enjoyed going there for dinner more, staring the day with that is my stomach hasn't made me feel great.

if anything get the nachos - Edit
While their food options are good, they are nothing out of this world with one exception: their nachos. They may have the best nachos I've ever tried

Should've gone somewhere else - Edit
We stopped by this place because it had received mostly positive reviews. Ordered "The Mountain" with cheeze and the hashbrowns were actually wedge potato slices. It came with some sauce that I wasn't into and the peppers and onions were too greasy for my preference. Also ordered "Dude Cakes" and they came, as described, smothered in gravy. Thing was, my taste buds did not like the gravy.

how can i put into words how amazing this restaurant is??? - Edit
I went here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! The restaurant itself has a great diner atmosphere and our waitress was so sweet. As a starter you MUST ORDER THE SPICY TIGERS! I forget exactly what it's called but it's seitan "fried chicken" with spicy buffalo sauce and a vegan ranch. It is SOOO good! I ordered the mountain (with cheese, guac, and tempeh bacon) and it was amazing! My non vegan family tried some and as breakfast fanatics, loved it. The tofu was flavorful and amazing, as well as the home fries (although I had expected hash browns from the menu) The cheese sauce is to die for!! My only thing about that dish is that I would have ordered the sausage instead of the tempeh but all in all was an amazing dish.

We had the sweetest waitress, she really went out of her way to make sure the service was top. The food was super yum, would recommend the tigers in the starters and the cheese fries, so good 😻

Had an all day breakfast option with tofu scramble, hash browns, breakfast sausage and choc chip pancakes. Everything tasted great but most of all the pancakes! No complaints about the friendly and good service and the food came out super quick!! Highly recommended with a lot of options.

food was okay - Edit
I went here in January 2017 and the service was really bad. I had to keep getting up and going to the counter to ask for things because my waitress never came to my table. The food was okay but really overpriced. I was disappointed with their vegan Mac n cheese. I really liked the kimchi tacos.

Diner Atmosphere, Great Cake - Edit
I had a good lunch here and appreciate another vegan spot in SLC. It's definitely diner style, don't expect a strong and modern ambiance, even a bit grubby (hence authentic?) in places.
Read moreCappucino was wonderful, carrot cake fresh and lovely, pesto sandwich so-so, and the fries were terrific with an unusual and flavorful ketchup style dipping sauce.
I'd visit again for a quick lunch and have dinner at a more upscale restaurant like Zest.

A FULL menu!!!!!! - Edit
Sitting down and having an ENTIRE menu to choose from is pure bliss in itself and beyond this, everything else..from the choices, deliciousness, super service and location is vegan heaven. I love their breakfast and order "The Mountain - with sausage, guac and cheese". I also tasted the pancakes. Perfection...light, fluffy, crispy on the edges and soaked up with the perfect combo of butter + syrup. Topping it off with a chocolate shake. mmmm. This is fantastic vegan love junk food. I dined with vegetarians and omnis and we all LOVED it.

Very Yummy Food - Edit
I do not even need to qualify this as Vegan food, it is just simply delicious. I have had several meals when I have been in SLC, and I keep coming back. This time I had Thanksgiving dinner here on Thanksgiving and came again for Jackfruit/KimChee tacos. Friendly staff, nice environment, good food and reasonable prices.

I'd eaten here before on another trip and don't know why I didn't review it then. I stopped in again on this road trip and it's just as good as I remembered from last time. We were just talking about stopping in again in the morning before we leave SLC! The food is the highlight at this place - not the ambiance, not the service. Not to say that I'm bothered by either although the waitress did tend to get caught up chatting with other tables. Despite that, the food still came super fast and was seriously delicious.

Great Vegan Diner - Edit
I liked this place a lot. I had the burger with Mac and cheese and vertical sauce -- I forget the name of the burger -- and it was awesome. I couldn't get enough. I also had cole slaw which was really good, and a peanut butter brownie for dessert which was also good. Food was delicious and the server was really friendly. Atmosphere was really cool too. Will absolutely go again next time I'm in Salt Lake.
