Nice and simple vegan place where you feel at home - Edit
Vegana by Tentúgal is a small and nice vegan place, run by a very friendly young lady, where you can buy vegan products at an affordable price and taste some of the best vegan snacks/toasts.

Very cute vegan shop and restaurant - Edit
This shop/restaurant is really nice and ran by a very friendly woman. It offers an extensive menu of vegan sandwiches, with vegan cheese and vegetables. Everything was good and cheap. I recommend the place even if it is a bit limited in terms of variety! Great portions and cheap prices for good food anyway.

Lovely little place. - Edit
We’ve been there twice for a breakfast during our visit in Porto and I’d recommend this place to anyone - the staff are amazing, really friendly and looked after us very well! Everything is 100% vegan, not expensive and it’s possible to request it as a take away. Banging fresh watermelon juice as well. Thank you for having us!

Get the Prego em Pão!! - Edit
I'm not the biggest fan of vegan cheese but I ordered the Prego em Pão and oh my, it was the best! The cheese was probably the best I had. The whole place was really chill, the food was good and service friendly. I will be back!

Travelling Portugal/Porto - Edit
Nice vegan shop and food corner! in the center of Porto! We ate a nice "croque-monsieur" with vegan bacon&cheese. We found some cruelty free cosmetics and candies amoung others products as vitamines or militant clothing. Owned by very smiling and kind people.

Perfection! - Edit
Vegana by Tentúgal is perfect, I couldn't ask for more. Right downtown, with a good variety of vegan products to buy (for very affordable prices) and a long list of yummy snacks to eat on the spot. The grilled "cheese" is incredible. The atmosphere is quite nice, very laid back, and the owner is lovely. If you enjoy vegan food and live in Porto or are coming to visit, this place is absolutely mandatory.

Adorable vegan place with excellent, super-fresh food and lovely owner! - Edit
I stopped here for a pre-fast meal, so could only at the time have salad, fresh juice and soup -- nothing too heavy and no gluten. Vegana's proprietor put together a LOVELY meal for me within these parameters, including an unbelievable (HUGE) salad and some of the best soup I've ever had, in addition to a gorgeous fresh-squeezed juice and a very democratically priced 1.5 litre bottle of alkaline water. The café is furthermore attached to a small, attractive vegan grocery which also has some vegan-themed gear (t-shirts, etc.). An all-around great place with a shining star of an owner/chef!!!

Omg, toasties! - Edit
Huge selection of toasties: we particularly liked the one with smoked sausage: lovely! And the great part was that you can buy the sausage on the premises, which we did! Owner is really friendly. We had a chat with her and she is a lovely person, the place she's running is amazing, the market idea in the restaurant is very good, and the fact that she is actually selling all the ingredients she uses in her kitchen is even better. Place definitely worth coming back to. Everything was amazing!

Extraordinary Vegan serving veganized portugues staples! - Edit
A huge step in the right direction for food in Portugal without having to americanize the menu! Portugal is a country with a culture very proud of it's fantastic cuisine. Which happens to be focused heavily around meat, fish, and eggy, buttery pastries. This lovely compassionate woman and her mother have created an oasis for anyone looking to experience the flavours of Portugal in a heath concious, plant-based way.
Read moreSandwiches, salads, soup, and natural juices all made to order with fresh natural ingredients. It also serves as a small market for all things healthy and organic from seitan chorizo, to natural toothpastes to dog food even organic produce they have it all. This is a favorite between locals and travellers alike. Modestly priced (8-10€ avg incl drink) Located just a few mins walk from the central area of S.luis bridge. Please make sure to visit this gem and invest your tourism dollars in a local business so genuinely passionate about the compassionate way to eat. ❤️🙏

Best vegan Nata ever❤️ - Edit
We loved this place and even went back a couple of times. The owner is so lovely and helpful. And the pastries are delicious. Especially the vegan Nata was great. Sadly enough they were sold out the last time we went by. Now we have to go back for a Porto holiday😏

Lovely store and cafe. Its very friendly and very reasonably priced. The grilled ‘ham’ and cheese sandwich I had was delicious. It appears that everything is cooked from scratch so be prepared that you may have to wait for your food but it’s worth its weight in gold.

Delicious vegan food, nice and friendly owners - Edit
My wife has developed food intolerance - some ingredients are simply forbidden to her, so before our arrival to Porto, we made a screenshot of vegan restaurants in the center, from the HappyCow website. We had very little time and we chose Vegana by Tentugal, as it was the nearest to the meeting point with the rest of our group...
Read moreIf I could, I would rate it with 5+ stars. The owner and her mother were very, very patient and helpful when we presented them the list of forbidden and permitted ingredients. Finally, my wife chose Mixed salad and Soup and I took the sandwich No. 10. The portions were huge, they tasted delicious and were a good value for the money!!!
I really don't want to underestimate the other vegan restaurants in Porto, as we were not long enough there to try them all, but somehow it seems to me that we had chosen by chance one of the best, if not the best!
Obrigado, Vegana by Tentugal!!!
Pros: delicious vegan food, huge portions, good value for the money

Vegan Love in Porto - Edit
This is just a beautiful vegan space. There is an extensive but simple menu of consisting mainly of toasties and sandwiches. We had the soup of the day which was cabbage and red kidney beans, a cheese and ham toastie and a freshly made chorizo, mushroom and pineapple pizza with a couple of soya coffees for €15. Whilst this might not sound particularly inspiring, the effort and detail involved in preparation was evident. We were made to feel very much at home here by the owner, she is a truly inspirational vegan warrior.
