First francesinha in my life- did not disappoint - Edit
We visited Vegana By Tentúgal to try the vegan francesinha because of the many good reviews here and we really were not disappointed. The hot dog was also very good, with cheese and ham in it. You can order extra fries if you want.

The owner welcomed us sooo nicely, she was really super polite and friendly. We only had drinks and freshly baked pastel de nata that were AMAZING, really really delicious.

Delicious! This was our last stop before leaving Porto, and I’m so glad we ended on a high note. We got the francesinha (of course), which the shop owner served with delicious spicy piri piri oil. We also got a salad with the tofu filet. I also had a port tonic to drink, and it was fantastic. I’m disappointed it was my first time to have it after being in Portugal for 3 weeks! Hands down the best drink I had in Portugal. I got a dessert to go, which was a type of fudge-y cake that had cookies inside and coconut flakes on the outside. So good! The shop owner was so kind and helpful. She seemed so cheerful! I appreciated that she let me practice my Portuguese instead of immediately switching to English 😜. Prices were also fantastic. Please come here, you won’t regret it!

Marcia welcomed us so well and effectively!! We ordered the francesinha, hot dog and hot dog especial, everything super good (although the francesinha sauce was a bit too salty for my taste on that day). The pastries and pasteis de nata are also lovely. We also tried the snitzel in another occasion and loved it.

Ich hatte das vegane Francesinha und es war echt gut. Ich kannte die Speise vorher nicht und wollte was typisch portugiesisches probieren. Ich war echt happy über meine Wahl. Die Bedienung ist super lieb. In dem Laden kann man auch gleich einige vegane Einköufe tätigen. Absolute Empfehlung. ☺️

Before I decided to become cruelty free, one of my favorite dishes was Francezinha. Well the Francezinha here is the best I have ever tried since. I could not this restaurant recommend more.

I'm always on search of vegan restaurants and had the opportunity to come here today. Besides the restaurant, staffed by one woman, a mini-vegan market stocks a variety of frozen, refrigerated, and dry vegan foods. When in Portugal, one eats Francesinha do I had the vegan Francesinha with fries. I ordered a slice of dark chocolate heaven to go. Don't mind the appearance, the owner gave me some "scraps". Oh my GOODNESS it was out of this WORLD!!! Not that I'd eat one, but angels probably taste like this smooth rich chocolatey delight. Muito obrigada! Also: Euro or Portuguese credit cards only.

This was such a lovely find near my accommodation. The lady working there (possibly the owner!) was so nice and helpful. There’s a really great menu to choose from and the food was delicious. Oh, and she has some amazing pastéis to finish with! Go!

Has various baked sweet and savoury goods, including pastels de Nata. You can also buy various shelf and frozen vegan items, including Vego chocolate. The owner is friendly and helpful. If you're in Porto, definitely visit - it's near metro station (Campo 24 de Agosto).

The Francesinha Run - Edit
We specifically came here to try the plant-based Francesinha. We'd had a few other vegan versions of it in Lisbon but ended up liking this one the best. Mostly because the sauce was more interesting. The owner was super-friendly and basically ran the whole show. We'd return here next time we're in Porto.
