Wide spread of vegan foods - Edit
This is almost as much a supermarket as a restaurant. There is a huge variety of products on sales including lots of vegan cheeses and meats and vegan toiletries.
Read moreThe restaurant portions are huge and excellent value. The fresh juices and salads were really tasty plus excellent coffee with vegan pastry to finish. Foods are made freshly on the spot which is very nice. The owner is very driven and very friendly.
While we were there two men and bought a lot of vegan cheese and meats. When I asked later whether they were regulars she explained that they have a non-vegan shop/restaurant but want to start also put vegan options on their menu. It shows how the vegan movement is striding forward. Great news😄
One sad note, the owner is hard hit by the Covid crisis so can do with some extra clients, so if you in town make a point of visiting this nice place, even if it is just to buy some snacks or chocolate. Tt is near the centre were most of the beautiful sights Porto has to offer are.

Affordable meal choices - Edit
Had my last meal in Porto here. I really liked the food, it was tasty and well priced. The portion sizes were a bit odd but not sure if that was us misinterpreting the menu. They also have loads of grocery options in this store, including massive blocks of DF cheese!

Best vegan place in porto - Edit
The owner is so kind and welcoming. The food is simply delicious. All what you tasted you can then buy right there. Prices are cheap and portions are beyond satisfying. It is a "must go" if you ever travel to portugal.

A very cosy place for a tasty meal (vegan 100%). Worth mentioning the traditional Portuguese dishes like francesinha, excellent custard tarts (pasteis de nata), and other delicacies such as croquetes, bolinhas, etc. Very nice staff and service (as important for us as the quality of the food and the place). You can also buy a variety of vegan products here. Thanks, we had a really great time. Totally recommended!

Nice service but that’s it. It took one hour to prepare 3 sandwiches and 1 toast (!!!) to take away. Food was very bad - oily and not fresh at all, my husband had schnitzel sandwich - the “meat” was still frozen in it! Very bad. It was also not cheap.

I was glad to find out this shop/ cafe was close to my accommodation and after reading so many good reviews I can only confirm that it is really worth a visit. The place is simple and has few tables, but the warmth of the service and the food makes up for it. Very lovely, very recomendable.

It was very nice to meet the owner as she explained all the dishes and snacks she had on offer that day. I had cheese balls and a pastry with seitan chorizo, both where quite nice, I'd get the cheese balls again. But the jewel of this place is a VEGAN pasteis de nata! I'm so glad I had a chance to try it on my trip in Portugal! Great place for vegan groceries and a nice snack, I especially love when people who run these businesses are really invested in what they do.

I love that she doesnt only have nice coffee and food, also sells groceries and unpackaged stuff. So if you meed just a little bit of washing liquid for example. There you‘ll get it into a used water bottle or similar.

Espaço pequeno e aconchegante. Para além da secção de "mercearia" onde não faltam opções para veganos/vegetarianos, ainda temos refeições, snacks, bebidas e café. Para alguém celíaca e com outras alergias, a proprietária foi Super atenciosa e não dispensou atenção a todos os promenores. Definitivamente um local de referência!

I have been to this place on a couple of occasions for pastries and food shopping but this time I decided to try the food. The Tentugal Salad (for 2) is basically canned chickpeas, canned mushrooms, canned corn, a bunch of salad from a bag, some tofu and cheese cubes. Most products that can be bought from the shop.

For a shop that sells bulk soap, detergent, etc to avoid plastic packaging and be more ecological to then serve disposable plastic olive oil and vinegar bags for a salad makes no sense.

This place always has the best variety of products, lots of new and interesting things to try. The owner is super friendly and helpful and she makes the best natas in Porto (I've tried them all :D). Her other pastries and cakes are delicious too!
