Read moreI had the chkn ceasar salad with a original VJFB burger and truffle fries. All were amazing, especially the chkn in the salad. My sister had the Pinky Bratwurst and my fiance had the loaded fries and agreed it was all delicious.
VJFB is a must go for anyone visiting the city, so sad we live so far away.

Food is always great, nice bitterballen and kapsalon. Staff is quite quick and usually not as arrogant as in other restaurants in Amsterdam. Outdoor seating could be improved (chairs instead of the benches).

Probably the best place to get great vegan junk food in Amsterdam. And luckily the VJFB can be found on a couple different locations (four restaurants and counting). Everything is good: the burgers, the shawarma, the fries. And the portions are pretty generous. The staff is.. very hip, and to be honest, they can be a little distracted and forgetful. But the food is totally worth it!

I had the shrimp Caesar salad and chickpea fries. They get the sauces and the textures all right. Wish I had time to come back and sample everything from the menu! It’s in a lively little square. Perfect for a summer dinner and beer outside.

I visited Amsterdam from the United States, where vegan comfort/junk food is sacred. As far as I’m concerned, this place does it correctly. No “health it up” nonsense (although I do believe there are salads on the menu if you must) it’s just to the point delicious junk food. The chicken sandwich, original burger, and kapsalon are all delicious. I wish we had this place in the US so I could try the entire menu. 💯💯💯💯

Best vegan place I have ever been to! - Edit
I don’t even have words to describe how amazing the food is here. Went for the first time yesterday - I had the Notorious Sumo and shared the Supreme loaded fries with my partner - it was so ridiculously tasty. Hands down the best vegan junk food I’ve ever had. The restaurant has a great vibe and we stayed late in the evening when it turned into more of a bar feel, and the staff are amazing and friendly. Will definitely be back! (Probably today)

This was the first place we went to while visiting Amsterdam. We ended up eating here twice during our trip. Everything was great!! We tried burgers, shawarma fries, lemony shrimp, chik’n cesear salad. If you’re looking for comfort food this is the place to go!

Patty has really meat-like taste and the cheese is cheesy. Recommend to give it a try if you’re into burgers.
A bit pricey but totally worth it, makes you feel full and happy :)
Be careful with onion, I couldn’t stop myself from eating all of it and got a heartburn haha, but it’s my fault.
