So much more than words can transmit - Edit
One of the ultimate stand out vegan places I’ve ever been to in my life. The three of us had their famous £22 Sunday Roast extravaganza each selecting a different meat (roast chicken, lamb and turkey). You are also provided with a Yorkshire Pudding then it’s self-service vegetables and all the usual trimmings such as sauces, stuffing and lashings of gravy. I had a bit of everything, piled my plate high then proceeded to devour the whole feast with a pint of their delicious Posh Lager overlooking Petticoat Lane Market. Not a bad way to spend an early Sunday afternoon before hitting The Oval for some T20 cricket action.

If I could give it 6 stars I would!! Best vegan restaurant, I love it! 😍 - Edit
This place was set up by Earthling Ed and Surge Activism and the money goes towards, helping animals, being their voice and hopefully opening there own sanctuary at some point! I can’t think of a better place to spend your money!
Read moreIt’s got a beautiful modern exterior and we were lucky enough to meet Ed there which was amazing!! The burgers, mac and cheese and pie were incredible!! We also tried the piers Morgan’s tears cocktail which felt very satisfying to drink 😂
Everything is vegan, delicious and you know it’s going to such a wonderful and compassionate cause! Short walk from Liverpool Street Station.

The Best - Edit
Amazing tasty food and you help animals by eating there. What's not to like? I had the tofish stack and it absolutely blew me away. I loved the "calamari" in it. The ambience was really nice, as was the staff and it's a non-profit restaurant, meaning what you pay goes to animal charities which is why it is a bit pricier, but all for a good cause. Definitely recommend giving it a go!

Can’t fault it! - Edit
Visited a little while ago for the first time and it was honestly faultless. The menu was great, food delicious. The place was lovely and clean throughout. Service was quick and the waiter was really nice. Think that it’s a great place to bring any skeptics non-vegans to show them what is available! I had mozzarella sticks, seitan chicken burger, and salted caramel cake! Will definitely be coming back!

Great post-Covid 19 experience - Edit
Great atmosphere, great staff, great food (yes, the tofish & chips is as good as they say). But most commendable of all, the lengths the staff have gone to maintain hygiene standards in light of the pandemic

Love in the times of covid - Edit
American fast food diner ouevre to this vegan restaurant that has adapted brilliantly to coronavirus opening. Felt at ease with staffs excellent hygienic treatment of surfaces and social distancing. I had the tofish & chips with mushy peas and it was divine. My friend had faux prawnz...again, lovely dish.

Fave vegan place in London - Edit
Incredible food, the extra expense justified as it is a non-profit. The tofish and chips, mozzarella sticks and peanut butter blondie all recommended.

Brilliant Vegan Sit Down Option! - Edit
Unity Diner is a non profit vegan sit down resturant which you dont have a lot of choice for in London as most places are quick server or street food. The menu is brilliant and I've had the hotdog and the burger as well as the fish bite starter and the food is fantastic! Desserts are also amazing, the caramel cake is to die for! I would say that the service was a bit slow, but nothing to complain about as the place has always been 100% full when I've been and had to book in advance and its nice to see a buzzing and busy vegan resturant. They also have a full bar with lots of different cocktails that I'd like to go back and try maybe during the evening. They also try to reduce waste by taking any food that is left over and donating to animal sancturies when they can.

Cons: Very busy and can have slow service

Fantastic! - Edit
I think first up you just have to commend Earthling Ed for setting up this place as a non profit business for Surge Activism 👏👏 That in itself deserves 5 stars ⭐️ The food we chose was delicious too.....Hubby had the Moving Mountains Burger 🍔 which was incredible! I had the Tofish Burger 🐟 which was incredibly “fish-like” and my friend chose the healthier Epic Salad 🥗 which she said was incredible and still very filling! Massive thumbs up from us all 💚

Beautiful, non profit, tasty, kid friendly - Edit
I’ve followed Earthling Ed for at least a year now. When I was traveling through London and saw he had opened not only a restaurant, but a non-profit restaurant I knew I had to stop in and support it. The food was amazing! Fish and chips that actually tasted like fish and chips! 🤤 I was bummed when I thought I would be visiting London and missing out on it’s “signature dish” but thankfully Ed had my back.
Read moreMy children were accepted and the staff even made efforts to talk to them just as they would adults (thanks Ali), which hit my mom heart! Not to mention my kids ate until “my stomach is going to explode”
The only small complaint is that because it was so new at the time of my visit it didn’t have it’s liquor license yet but didn’t have it on the menu that it was temporarily unavailable.
Pros: Biodegradable take away bins, Friendly , Puts it’s profits where it’s mouth is
