Market stall selling wraps with fresh cooked vegetables, soups (might contain dairy), and fresh produce wholesale from UK and other parts of Europe. Open Mon-Wed 08:00-17:00, Thu 08:00-17:30, Fri 08:00-18:00, Sat 08:00-17:30.
Turnips is magically transformed at night into a fine dining restaurant, using the fresh produce they sell during the day. It's not cheap, but they do a fabulous vegan tasting menu using vegetables in an innovative way. It's very atmospheric in the market at night when it's closed and they have blankets and heaters in case you get cold. The staff are wonderful and the food was excellent. A special treat.
One of the stands at the Borough Market. It has one of the big green market signs hanging from the market's roof with "Turnips" on it.
There is usually a big queue to pay and order and then get your wrap order. They sell fresh produce wholesale too but it is not on display, probably you need to ring up for it.
There are about two different choices of wraps with cooked vegetables in them. Half way through the aftenoon one of them often sells out. The wraps are juicy. They are rolled so you can eat them as you walk around as it being a stand there is no seating.

Just to add, it's not fully vegan & they do serve meat and fish.

Wild mushrooms risotto - Edit
In the right corner of this veg stall, you can buy delicious risotto. Ask them to not sprinkle cheese on it and it's vegan.

Sometimes service is a bit brusque/ offhand.
It is under five pounds for wrap, value is okay.
Pros: Quite freshly prepared, juicy
Cons: some choices sell out
