Horn OK Please

I had the chickpea chaat and it was delicious. The line is always crazy long here, so I would recommend trying to go during the week or during an off time.

All vegetarian

All food is vegetarian and most of the things are vegan. I liked that cheese an optional feature and not already in the dish, so that you can enjoy everything in vegan. The taste was good, but i think it was a bit expensive, even for Borough market prices.

Excellent

A really great little stall but with excellent plant-based options, which are few and far between in the Borough Market! By London standards at least. This was the first time I have ever tried dosa - what a strong start! It was amazing!

Delicious, spicy vegan food

I went with the Samosa Chaat which is a smashed Samosa topped with Chana Masala and a Coriander Sauce. It was delicious! They had other vegan options as well.

Pros: Different vegan options, Friendly staff

We loved it!

We ordered the Dosa and it was so flavorful and crispy. The outer shell was a perfect compliment to the filling. We also ordered the chai drink which made us feel like we were in India, it was definitely strongly spiced but we loved it. We will definitely be coming back to try the other things on the menu

Good quality vegetarian and vegan food

Good value Indian food. A very good option at Borough Market. The dosas are rather thick, but taste great. Vegan options are clearly marked and plentiful.

Flavoursome and delicious!

I visited the stall in Southbank a while back and I can still remember the flavours to this day. The moong daal dosas are out of this world - crispy yet soft and the taste is so unique. The chickpea with chutneys that come on side are a great addition and make the meal complete. You get crunchy, you get sweet - love the combination of textures and flavours. I really need to go back and have a dosa again!

Pros: amazing flavours, price

Wonderful food

I just had the Moong dal dosa for breakfast. It was the best breakfast £6 could buy me. It's spicey and nurturing food. Definately worth a visit if you're visiting Borough Market. :)

Pros: Good food., Affordable., Friendly staff.

Cons: Outdoor with no place to sit and relax.

Awesome Dosa

This is a really good option at Borough market - You get a masala dosa with a small salad and some crispy chickpea noodles for only 5 pounds, and it is both filling and really good! Specify that you are vegan, because their yogurt sauce isn't!

Pros: Great and cheap dosa

great value

We had a mix and match from here and the big V. This was the better.
Two take away meals for £9.50 a bargain.
The big V should take note of the use of ingredients as adding a little pomegranate really lifted the meal. Both meals were really different Andi would go back here tomorrow.

Pros: mostly vegan, fresh and value, staff

Street food at its best

I first went to the Horn OK please stall at *Diwali in the Square* (after 2 days of outrageous over-eating at VegFest - I wasn't hungry just curious) and since unlike the other vendors they had labelled their menu with 'vegan option' I decided to order something. As I got closer I could see their delicious-looking and fragrant food being prepared with admirable organisation and the three women were keeping their cool despite the very large and eager crowd demanding dosas. I felt a dosa would push me over the edge but I couldn't turn down vegan channa chaat. Spicy, big chickpeas with lashings of date and tamarind chutney*, mint sauce, super fine red onion and gorgeous crispy sev, elegantly finished with parsley and sweet pomegranate. Seriously good, and only £4. Since then I've become addicted to their moong dal dosa (which also comes with the channa chaat and all the trimmings) and go visit them by Royal Festival Hall whenever possible.

Pros: Quality ingredients, Attention to detail, Friendly & organised

Cons: Lacto

Delicious food and reasonable prices :)

I came here the other evening before seeing a show at the Southbank Centre and was very impressed - not only was the freshly made lentil pancake with fillings totally delicious, it was a very reasonable price for London. I'll certainly be back next time I'm in the area.

Pros: Amazing, tasty vegan food, Quick takeaway food, Reasonable prices

Cons: Not 100% vegan

Spicy and Filling by the Thames

I was happy to stumble upon this stall on a Friday afternoon and was very happy to discover that all three dishes are vegan (with optional yoghurt sauce). Inspired by authentic street food from India, the menu offers a healthy and lower fat alternative to the usual oil-heavy dishes which one may associate with other traditional Indian meals such as curries.

Their best seller is the filled Moong Daal Dosa but I tried the Samosa Chaat which I really enjoyed. I found the combination of samosa, spicy chickpea topping, crispy noodles and pomegranate very interesting and enjoyed eating it overlooking the Thames in the bustling cultural area that is The Southbank. I am looking forard to trying the Dosa next time.

Pros: Reasonable Price, Interesting dishes
