A Festive Atmosphere, Hit-or-Miss Dishes, and Service Lacking Warmth

The restaurant boasts an amazing space that was beautifully festive over the Christmas season, setting the stage for what could have been a delightful dining experience. However, while some aspects exceeded expectations, others fell short.

Let's start with the positives. The nut roast was a highlight, offering a pleasing flavor profile and was a good portion size.

Unfortunately, not all dishes lived up to expectations. The Roast Wild Mushrooms and Aubergine dish was a letdown. It was overly salted, throwing off the balance of flavors, and disappointingly lacking in mushrooms.

Moreover, the restaurant's entrance proved to be inconvenient, with limited space to wait without feeling in the way. This detracted from the overall experience, especially during busy periods.

Another disappointment was the service. Some of the wait staff seemed indifferent and not particularly friendly or helpful. This lack of warmth and attentiveness diminished the overall enjoyment of the meal.

While Roast has its merits, including a beautiful space and some tasty dishes like the nut roast, inconsistencies in food quality and service issues prevent it from being a top-tier dining destination.

Cons: Expensive, Some dishes were a letdown, Staff could be more helpful
