Lovely food! - Edit
Very nice place! Some of the best raw food I have ever had. Their smoothie bowls are very unique in flavor and the staff is very friendly. Their pizza is lovely as well.

Some great dishes - Edit
I was very sceptical about spending quite a lot of money on raw vegan food but I was pleasantly surprised as to how tasty the food was. Our favourites were one of the pizzas (which was tiny btw), the cauliflower dish and the lasagna. Portions were generally quite small so you have to order a few dishes which ups the price even more but it’s definitely a place worth a try.

Pretentious but tasty!! - Edit
It's a really creative and interesting menu with so much choice. It's fairly pretentious with lots of dubious health benefits printed all over the menu, but we took it in good food. Our raw full breakfast was tasty and flavourful. Very expensive, though.
Read moreDidn't try any but a really nice looking Chinese tea menu and they seed to really know about the tea.

Great if you're in to raw food - Edit
We had the laksa and one of their smoothie bowls. The Laksa was great, but the smoothie bowl wasnt amazing and the toppings were a bit like bird feed.
Read moreThe restaurant it self was nice and comfy as well as very cool inside.
Would recommend if you are into raw food, but there are better restaurants around if you eat cooked vegan food.
Pros: Laksa, Cool and airy

Raw-mazing!! - Edit
Really nice setting to chill, I enjoyed the Monday lasagne special. It was absolutely delicious.
Read moreI also had the mocha cheesecake, it was really nice too. The base was chewy like caramel. All the other cheesecakes looked amazing too.
It has opened my eyes to “raw” food. It was really not what I was expecting
Delicious
Eating with bamboo cutlery is a little annoying but I get it
Note: the prices weren’t as bad as other review make out (in my opinion)

Came here a few times for lunch and dinner. Love the food and love sitting upstairs taking in the fresh air. Everything I tried here was amazing but my favorite was the pesto gnocchi. Will for sure be back next time I’m in Bali

Amazing... but you have to know what to order - Edit
I love this place and it's because they are awesome and do many things so well and next level. I support other raw vegans doing their thing SO much and putting so much love into the food and I am very grateful for this place! It's so creative and inspiring. I am vegan and mostly raw and despite sometimes the challenges with the menu here I still love and support this place.
Read moreThat said , I only like certain items and when I stray away from those items I have been a bit disappointed. The lasagne, pizza, and gnocchi really stand out for me. And the SOL bowl, I get that nearly every time. also. So yummy, healthy, satisfying and delicious. Those items are so amazing. And the passion fruit cheesecake, it's seriously the best thing on the planet. And the strawberry short cake ...Omg..!!
Things I did not enjoy at all to the point I couldn't even eat were the Korean rolls , enchilada, veggie wrap, buffalo cauliflower and rainbow salad. Unfortunately all those items made me dearly wish I had eaten somewhere else and sad looking at the food on my plate that I couldn't force down. I pretty much stick with what I know and like and it's so nourishing and yummmmmy .
The desserts are amazing , can't go wrong. Chocolates are awesome!
Pros: Not too busy and trendy like other vegan spots

Delicious raw healthy food - Edit
As per all the other reviews, the food here is great. I like to experiment with raw food from time to time. The salad bowls all looked really good - our only disappointment was the falafel as we were expecting it to be a part of a salad bowl. But the burger was good as where the samosa and the dips. Really want to go back and try the lasagne at some point. We had a lot of their desserts whilst staying in Ubud too. These change daily but our favourite was the chocolate tart for sure! Keep an eye out for that one...

Hit or miss - Edit
The place is easy to find and very nice decorated. I have been here three times, every time I have ordered the choco berry smoothie bowl. It’s very delicious and come with a small date dessert and some crunchy quinoa. I will come back for the smoothie bowl. I have also tried two cakes and a zucchini wrap. The cakes are fine but nothing spectacular. The wrap was very little, basically four bites. Too expensive and not filling at all, by the sauce was delicious! I would only come back to have the smoothie but not for anything else. Prices are quite expensive for the food you get.

Expensive Menu ~65000 IDR
Read more+5% service charge

Plant based food doesn't have to be this expensive, unless one wants to profit from the touristy Yogi's wanting to experience vegan food.
There are better places offering a good local + vegan food at much better prices.
Pros: Fancy food, menu and atmosphere
Cons: Expensive, Menu doesn't state the taxes clear enough

However, also ordered the cauliflower bites, so bloody average it was gross. And then the aloe Vera sashimi plate and it was the most fowl thing I have ever eaten.

To hip for its own good - Edit
Disclaimer: I’m old (52) so this may be reflected in my review.
Read moreA huge menu that had a zillion tonics for warts to cancer so that is good. I had a nice tofu scramble breakfast and nice green tea and a lovely raw cake.
The issue I have is the lack of seating. There were more young hip people sitting around on their phones and laptops not ordering food, making finding a seat during the quiet season challenging. Clearly I’m too old and not tolerant enough for this sort of place. Young hip people knock yourself out
I heard a podcast (PlantProof) on Itunes with the owner and he has an amazing raw food and life story to share. It’s worth a listen! That podcast is the key reason I sought out Seeds of Life.

The food is pretty good and there’s plenty to choose from but we got ridiculously bloated from eating here. If you’re into raw food you’ll love it but I don’t think it was really my thing.

Nice enough - Edit
Nice place with big menu. Menu is a bit long and descriptive (the drinks menu has so much text I gave up 😂).
Read moreTried the pesto burger which tasted great but would probably have made more sense as an open sandwich as it was tricky to eat like a burger.
Also tried the cauliflower ‘buffalo wings’ which was just fried cauliflower. This tasted great but should have been called ‘cauliflower bites’ or something as they were nothing like ‘buffalo wings’.
Pros: All vegan , Tasty food
Cons: Stop describing food like it’s meat when it’s veg

Heerlijke chia pudding - Edit

Raw heaven - Edit
Seeds of Life has the most incredible raw food. Admittedly not all the options are that exciting, but the ones that perform really are sensational! The Mexican lasagne reminds me of lasagne from my omni days (the tacos on Tuesdays use the same “meat” and are also brilliant), the pesto gnocchi was quite the surprise, and the Sol Bowl is very filling but super fresh and delightful. The samosas and the coleslaw also have wonderful flavour combinations. Of the sweet options, the breakfast pancakes are a hit, as well as the passion fruit cheesecake.
Read moreDishes that I would happily pass over are the laksa (it’s nice but didn’t feel like the experience of laksa), the pizza base I found to be too heavy, and the cauliflower buffalo wings are nothing special. The Italian lasagne special is nice, but I would go for the Mexican one even when the Italian one is on offer.
The vibe at this place is also lovely (noticeably better than Alchemy where many seem to be using it as a coworking space and the ambience is more sterile).
Pros: Tasty diverse options, All raw, Vibe
Cons: Pricey, Not all dishes are winners
