The BEST raw food restaurant in Ubud - Edit
This was absolutely the BEST out of all the Raw Vegan restaurant I tried in Ubud, the menu is so creative, well structured and presented.
Read moreI went there twice trying as much as possible. Had the Moussaka (this is a special they do only one day) was delicious and creamy, slightly warm. The Banana curry, a mix of sweet and creamy with a super nice banana bread, we had the sushi to die for, the nori "salmon" roll was also absolutely amazing, the warm gnocchi, what a surprise!
Everything I tried there was delicious and well presented!
Pros: Creative menu, Tasty and colourful, Nice atmosphere

Very inventive menu - Edit
This restaurant could be ahead of it’s time or it might change the way it serves vegan. Loved the extensive menu and the attention given to create everything from tacos to naan raw. Some dishes hit the spot, some are a little short on flavor. But definitely worth trying once for every vegan in Bali
Read morePros: Granola bowl, Banana pancake , Beetroot juice
Cons: Wrap with cauliflower, a tad too raw for me

The raw tacos was good! 3 tortillas with different filling. The massaman filling was my least favourite.

Vegan paradise! - Edit
Fully vegan place with huge selection of vegan foods. I had the "egg and bacon" burrito with buffalo wings which wasn't too bad, but the salad ratio in the burrito was a bit overpowering and didn't leave much room to all the other ingredients. Banana Dharma smoothie was super good and the banana pancakes were amazing. Great selection of drinks and the meals are all very healthy. Good location and friendly service. Would visit again if in Ubud, nice little place and the prices weren't too bad either.

Best smoothie bowl in Ubud - Edit
I’ve been doing a tour of smoothie bowls in Ubud. Seeds of life is by far the top choice so far. Bonus that it is absolutely beautiful! Drinks and salads here are also stellar. I may or may not try their other food. I’m stuck on the smoothie bowls!

High quality and nutritious raw food - Edit
The food served here is very different to that found in other restaurants. The emphasis is on raw food, and the place also seems focused on dehydrated bread, which surprisingly tasted good. There is a very large separate menu for tonics and other beverages. Reading about these different tonics and their healing properties is very interesting. Another mention is that a lot of effort has been put into the bathroom in this restaurant, which is very clean, has excellent scents, and has pictures and nutritional literature on the walls and door. The place is located on Jalan Goutama, which is central to Ubud but is much quieter and nicer than other nearby roads.

Impressive Drinks but Some Meals Fall Short of Expectations - Edit
Seeds of Life remains a charming spot in the heart of Ubud, especially for those seeking a fully raw vegan dining experience. The restaurant stands out for its inventive drinks and beautiful presentation, showcasing the care and thought put into each dish and beverage.
Read moreThe drink menu is a highlight, offering an incredible selection of unique concoctions that blend health benefits with bold, refreshing flavours. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find something new and intriguing to sip on with every visit.
On the food side, the experience was mixed. The calzone was a standout—flavourful, packed with filling, and satisfying. However, the ‘bacon and egg’ burrito was a letdown. While the concept was creative, the execution fell short, with an overwhelming amount of lettuce and barely any filling. This imbalance, combined with pricing that feels steep for certain items, made the meal experience less enjoyable than expected. The raw deserts are also a highlight and worth going back for.
Despite the inconsistency in the meals, Seeds of Life is still worth visiting for its extraordinary drinks and inviting atmosphere. While it might not fully meet past expectations, it offers a unique take on raw vegan dining in Ubud.

I enjoyed my time at the restaurant. I had the pesto feta wrap and a green juice.

Nice - Edit
Lovely venue and staff. I had the tacos, which were juicy and tasty; not sure what they use for the taco shells but they held together well. The buffalo wings were tasty and not too crunchy.

Lovely restaurant - Edit
We ate here during our time in Ubud and really enjoyed the vibe and peacefulness of this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, food was served quickly and the portion sizes are very generous! The cauliflower wings and homemade hummus were the stars of the show for me🤩 However, items were a little pricey so possibly not the best place for those on a tighter budget.

Inspiring raw food - Edit
Really like this place and enjoyed several meals here because of the nutrition.
Read moreMy favourite is the lasagna in which I ask for less avo and more mango (a wise pick!). Laksa soup has the flavours on point, pizza was alright. The calzone a bit odd (but I did have that as takeaway so it might differ when it’s completely fresh). Love their side seaweed salad. Sashimi was interesting. Wish they had a breakfast that wasn’t so “maxed” with so many different ingredients. I like things simple, especially in the morning. Like the papaya salad (but that portion is tiny).
The three things that makes me not give the place three stars are:
1. Quality fluctuates a lot. One day the lasagna was licked-my-plate good, another very bleak. Had the same experience with the carawbonara a few years ago.
2. No sugar free desserts.
3. Many dishes are very fatty which doesn’t do me any good.
Still enjoy coming because it’s so seldom you get creative raw food.
Pros: Healthy , Organic , Nice seating
Cons: No sugar free desserts , Very fatty

Nice restaurant with lots of choice of salads, tacos, all plant based and raw. I ordered the SOL bowl. It was ok but there was too much dressing to be able to taste the food. Tacos were better.
