Do yourself a favour and visit! - Edit
I love this place! I visited it regularly during my two week stay in Ubud and i was never disappointed with the food or drinks that I ordered. The menu is large and diverse; there’s sure to be something here for everyone including those who enjoy sweet treats.
Read moreThe staff let this place down - they are inattentive, very slow paced and tend to chat amongst themselves more than is necessary while customers are waiting.
One day (when the restaurant was quiet) I sat at a front table right at the front entrance and waited a 15 minutes for a menu before going to grab it for myself. I’ve also had to ask for water on half the occasions I visited. With better customer service and more consistency this could receive a 5* review.

I love this place!!! The menu is so huge and diverse that I’ve been back multiple days in a row just to try everything I’m wanting. It also has such a chill and unique atmosphere, the best for taking a break from the heat and soaking up the good vibes!

Love the cakes! There's a lot of tonics (teas, smoothies etc). The raw pizza was surprisingly good. The Mexican lasagna good as well. Did not like the gnocchi.

"The Seeds of Life" is one of those places where you can experience food in a different way, taste flavours you didn't know exist.... I had the cauliflower-gnocchi and a "KitKat" for dessert and it was outstanding! The juices/smoothies are great, too. Vast menu, there's something for everyone, I'd say. Raw food inspired by dishes from all over the world. Wish I could come back!

The menu looks great, but I was slightly let down by the food & service. Maybe my hopes were too high. Had the Mexican lasagne, which I’d been told was the best raw vegan dish of all time. It was nice but not 5* taste. Also got a green beauty juice, also ok but not 5*. Turkish delight (dragonfruit) cheesecake - looked amazing but taste lacking & coconut oily. The food, drink & dessert at Zest Ubud was all better than seeds of life. Similar price & Zest has a better atmosphere & environment. Seeds of life need to up their taste game if they want to compete with newcomers.

Huge menu of raw vegan food. I had the warm Mexican lasagne which was nice. The mocha choc cheesecake was amazing.
Read moreUnfortunately it took forever for anyone to even acknowledge me. Even after I asked at the counter if it was table service and they said yes it still took ages for them to come and take my order. I know nothing happens quickly in Bali but this was exceptional slow. I saw a couple come in wait ages and leave as noone came to get there order after they'd confirmed it was table service too. I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant but first visit a little tainted. I will try again another day though.

I guess I’m just not super into raw food but if you’re raw vegan this place is for you! They have a whole tonic menu that takes probably 20 minutes to read plus a massive menu. Highly recommend the gnocchi ✌🏼

Each day they have a different special which is good. I tried the gnocchi which was tasty but the pesto was overwhelmingly garlicky - and I'm a huge garlic lover!
Some of the seating is not on chairs but cushions which are dirty with big stains on.
If you're raw vegan then it's good, but if you're not specifically pursuing the raw aspect then there any many other better vegan eateries in Ubud

It is a nice place, relaxing atmosphere, many options on the menu and all very tasty. The drinks and food do not always taste the same, as different people make them and depends on available ingredients. It is raw, delicious food and super healthy for you. The dessert counter has many treats with fresh fruits, daily. The desserts are not always the same so you have to check out what is available that day. It can get crowded and very limited seating, sometimes the crowd there is flaky but the food is always good. Great experience and beautiful place. I frequent this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food, sometimes several times in one day. It is a restaurant which offers food with health benefits and sometimes that means a variety of foods one may not be familiar with, and again, it is raw. Enjoy!

We are here two days in a row and loved the soul-filling and fulfilling food and desserts. Portions may look small but they are really satisfying due to richness of grains, seeds and nut cheese. Highly recommended for flavourful desserts.

The smoothies were very delicious and really special. The food (we had breakfast) was a real eye catcher but we we’re completely happy. The portions were rather small and it was very sweet. We would have loved more fresh fruits and “substance”.

Read moreUnfortunately, the food didn't taste good. We had the tao soup, buffalo wings and samosa. The soup tasted a little like miso soup but had condiments with strange taste and consistency. The samosas were alright but the side salad was flavorless and just spicy. The same goes for the dip. The Buffalo wings came with a great dip, the pieces of cauliflower didn't have anything special about them.
We had very good raw food in Ubud and expected the same quality.

We've been there once for dinner and tried the gnocchi and the burger. The portions were very yummy but a bit small considering the prices. After the dinner we had an dessert option which was also yummy and small. The stuff is very friendly. You'll get free water as much as you need. You have free WiFi if you want.
