Beautiful food and decor - Edit
First time at the Seeds of Life the menu was a bit overwhelming-so many delicious things to choose from.
Read moreWe sat upstairs on the floor. There are no windows so you get a good breeze at night.
The tonics and smoothies are really incredible. We had the Shangri la and the Alma Dhatri.
We got the three dips to share, the gnocchi and the laksa. All delicious. Our first time eating raw and we loved it. We got dessert from the fridge downstairs to take away.
Pros: The drinks, The calm vibe , Free water

Most raw vegan food I have tried was not amazing but not super tasty either. This place makes raw vegan food unlike any other. Everything I tried was amazing!!!

Small but good quality - Edit
Small portion for expensive food. But incredible quality.
Read moreReally small portions, but wholly vegan. It is raw food. It’s expensive for Bali but still relatively cheap by western standards

Great sushi/Burger - Edit
Very down to earth eatery, great raw experience. Food was delicious but the atmosphere is why I have it a 3 star. Hot with little air flow and food took about 35 minutes. But the food: sushi and nigiri were amazing. We’ve had vegan sushi a lot of places and this was truly inspiring. Wasabi was authentic and spicy, cauliflower rice stole the show for my wife. Pesto burger was unforgettable and the fresh juice tonics added an overall spring freshness to the meal.

Wish I could’ve given a better review - Edit
Most of the food here did look awesome, but since we just had desserts and drinks that’s what I’m reviewing.
Read moreI’ve been to many raw food places where the desserts doesn’t just taste like one thing - greasy coconut oil. Unfortunately, here they did.
We also had the kombucha which did not have any sparkles and was too sweet. So just not fermented properly. The prices for the desserts also seemed out of proportion given the quality. And many of the desserts contained lecithin which is so bad for our stomachs. So for a “healthy healing place”‘ I’d expect the food to be without additives.
However, staff and location great. Wish they would improve the standard of their desserts and drinks.
Pros: Nice staff, Great location
Cons: Desserts not so good , Pricy, kombucha 55,000

Absolutely Ubud's No.1 Place To Eat - Edit
On our trip, this was the restaurant that was most tempting to revisit because it just does so many things right. The standard of food, particularly raw vegan food in Ubud is so high, and Seeds was literally the only restaurant that actually went above and beyond in terms of what they were trying to do on their menu and the overall execution of these concepts.
Read moreThe Shiritaki Pad Thai was stunning and easily the best thing eaten by us all week. The sauce was packed full of sour flavour and notes of heat, the use of nuts throughout just gave it such a great texture and overall, it was worthy of a plate-licking. Great balance throughout. On the more technical side, the Nigiri platter was pulled off very well, with each bite being individual and real thought had been given to achieving a real feel of nigiri in the dish, Again, the sauce used was very accomplished.
Drinks-wise, the Jombucha was a hot day, refreshing treat, packed full of mint. It went really well with the food we had ordered. We also tried one of the cheesecakes and, although decent, this was the weakest part of the experience for us...where the texture of it was just a bit off and not a lot of flavour was captured in the "cheese" part of the dessert. The date base was very pleasant, however.
Vibe of the place is really nice. Sort of a relax, Chinese-tea shop kind of affair. Can't speak highly enough of it, if there's one place we'd really champion in Ubud, it would definitely be Seeds. Worth checking out for sure!
Pros: Creative, Flavourful And Bold Menu Items., Incredible Drinks Menu., Great Location And Overall Vibe To The Place.
Cons: Desserts Could Be Better., Missed Out On The Daily Specials.

Spiritual dinner experience - Edit
I was told not to eat anything raw while in Bali, yet I did risk it and went to have dinner here. Can’t tell if me getting sick the next day is actually related to this. They had amazing options for drinks/teas and the food was okay, nothing special taste-wise though. Very spiritual feel to everything.

Delicious, clean food! - Edit
Loved this place, during my recent visit to Bali! They are fully raw vegan and the food is quite delicious. I had ordered a salad, a gnochhi and a pancake. I especially loved the gnochhi- it was quite flavourful. I couldn't believe it was raw. The pancake was also nice- fully raw and yummy. I definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Cosy place - Edit
Everything is vegan, so that's a plus. Very cosy place. The food is very spices, like cinnamon. A bit too much for our preference.

It amazed me!!! - Edit
I was surprised by it! I tried raw for 5 days a few years back and it wasn’t my thing 😂 it felt like an eternity! I could eat everything they offer in Seeds of Life here for for good and be extremely happy! They have a huge menu that tbh I took a whole lot of time just going through it and learning as I was going. A must visit when in Ubud! Happ

Amazing Raw Vegan and GF in the Heart of Ubud - Edit
The food menu is extensive and almost everything is GF, in addition to being vegan. I had two different slices of pizza with a side salad and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The beverage menu is equally extensive with Juices, smoothies, tonics, and teas. I had a kombucha based mock mojito that was full of fresh mint, cold and refreshing. The servings are generous and the ambience is super chill. I sat at a low table on pillows, shoes off at the door. I loved everything!

Slightly pricier, but worth it for a good raw meal - Edit
I went here with my boyfriend and we both found it a nice change from the traditional food we've been having all day every day. We were both a bit weary of raw food (we heard stories of poor food hygiene being riskier in raw meals, and we've had raw meals in the past that simply weren't that well done) but we were both very impressed by the SOL bowl and lasagna. The green smoothie with coconut milk was also delicious.
Read moreFor dessert, my partner went for a passion fruit dessert and I went for the tiramisu one. I was very underwhelmed by mine, but my partner's was pretty good.
Overall, for two mains, one drink and two desserts we spent over 300K (quite a bit pricier than other restaurants in the surrounding area, but more than worth it if you're seeking out a change and some nice raw and yummy vegetables!)
Pros: Great quality food, Many options, Extensive drinks menu
Cons: Slightly pricier than other restaurants around, Raw tiramisu was underwhelming

Excellent green smoothie - Edit
I'm usually not a fan of green juices and smoothies but decided to give it a go here. It was actually so so good! Also had a chia berry porridge which was delicious. The menu is a bit intimidating with all the 'health' stuff and tonics. They also have a cabinet with delicious cakes. Good little spot for lunch or an afternoon break

Very nice atmosphere - Edit
I loved the relaxing atmosphere with floor seating and reggae music. I tried a daily special, enchiladas, which were so filling and full of flavour! I also got a juice with beets and more which was refreshing.
