Opened Feb 2018, relocated to new address Feb 2022, a social enterprise vegan restaurant that employs homeless people and people after leaving jail. Offers lunch menus, wide range of local vegan cuisine, fair-trade coffee, alcoholic drinks including local draught beer, vegan and gluten-free cakes and other desserts and last but not least a variety of high quality non-alcoholic alternatives. Open Mon-Wed 16:00-23:00, Thu-Fri 16:00-00:00, Sat 10:00-00:00, Sun 10:00-23:00. Kitchen closes every day at 10pm. BRUNCH 10:00-13:00 on weekends

Great food with a great mission - Edit
We were so excited to eat at Strecha tonight. The restaurant is large and bright. When we first entered we thought it was small, but the restaurant is in the shape of an L and has about three separate seating areas on the long arm. We sat in the very end room which had a couch with a low table and a chess set and a monopoly game. Our servers were very nice and spoke to us in English.
Read moreWe ordered the dumplings on red cabbage and the fried cheese with fries. It was great to get to try some traditional Czech dishes veganized. The food was delicious and the portions were generous - we sadly weren't able to finish our meals because we ran out of room.
We were happy to purchase a pending meal for someone in need.

What can I say, I loved the food, the ambiance and the staff was super kind and attentive. Love that they have some czech classics, I had dark beer goulash and wasn't disappointment. It was very spicy! I remained a bit hungry afterwards so I ordered homemade fries (which came with 3 glorious dips), but I was very hungry before, so yea. Prices are fair and they have a nice drink selection.

Update: Came here again and wasn't disappointed. I was alone this time, the staff recognized me and was super nice, I had special beer that was recommended to me, ribs (because the dumplings were out) and strawberry cake. The cake wasn't the best but still fine. The main was a taste explosion. This venue is a must-visit!

Vegan food only. A lot of variations, often Czech kitchen. They offer also daily menu that changes. Looks like typical Czech pub, that’s a big plus. Offers cakes, snacks and beer of course.

Just ate here today! Ordered the halušky, a chai latte, and their house lemonade; everything was delicious and came quickly. Really liked the ambience and their mission, as well as the friendly and helpful staff.

i was there last summer. we only spent a few days in prague but went there twice because it was so delicious. i also love their concept. the grilled cheese was so delicious and i also loved everything else i ate (we were in a group and tried each other's dishes)

Jídlo moc dobré, objednali jsme si 3 jídla plněná paprika s rajskou omáčkou a houskovým knedlíkem, plněné knedlíky se zelím, guláš - všechna jídla byla výborná (polévky taky moc fajn!), pouze ty plněné knedlíky byly suché. Obsluha moc milá, je možné předplatit oběd někomu, kdo na nej nemá, takže moc fajn koncept celkově! Doporučuji:)

I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a filling and cheap local meal. The garlic soup we had was okay, and the goulash and ribs were nice. It was also nice to escape from the ‘tourist’ kinda vibe in here, as there were mainly local people sitting around. The ambiance was cozy and the place felt welcoming.

There are many options to choose from, with vegan versions of traditional Czech food. A lot of seating and friendly staff. I wish there was a bit more vegan meat in the goulash but otherwise it was good.
