With an eclectic mix of Eastern cuisines, this place had the potential to be an absolute gem of an eatery, but unfortunately, it wasn’t to be. That’s not to say that it wasn’t good, it just felt like the unique selling point, the diversity of dishes, has led to adequacy rather than excellence.
Read moreThere were of course, among the plethora of items I sampled, a few that did indeed impress, the stir fried Chinese greens were surprisingly flavoursome, Thai green curry had a good depth of flavour, yaki meshi had a wonderful balance to it. On the flip side, the Thai red curry just about managed to be average, the tofu in black bean sauce was rather lacklustre, and Burmese khao suey was a pretty limp affair.
Overall, a very mixed bag and while there is enjoyment to be found here, it was too sporadic for me to be tempted to return.
