Sono stata da Rifugio Romano lo scorso weekend ed abbiamo mangiato divinamente. I piatti sono tutti molto curati e buonissimi, il personale gentile e simpatico. Eravamo in quattro e tutte siamo rimaste veramente contentissime della serata passata in questo locale. Super consigliato!

Had such a great experience at Rifugio Romano. Great location near Termini. Bustling atmosphere. Delicious food (and generous putting). I have been traveling to Rome for many years and this is one of my favorite spots. I am so happy to see that they are now a fully plant-based restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

Read moreThe first time I went there it was only vegan-friendly, I'm very happy to know that it has become fully vegan. I think it deserves 5 stars for having been able to create the vegan (and very good) version of the main recipes of Roman cuisine, which otherwise would have been inaccessible to us vegans. Honest prices and good service.

We ate there when they had vegan options, and the food was delicious. We had pizza, pasta, dolce and wine. Best vegan cheese on pizza I've ever eaten. Still dreaming of their tiramisu😄Just love it! I will come back for sure! And I'm so happy they became fully vegan. Bear in mind the place is crowded so it's highly recommended to book the table in Advance.

I’d been following Rifugio Romano for years. Finally managed to go in November 2022. It was worth it and would be five stars if the place were vegan. EDIT: It is now fully vegan!!!!

The food is expertly and freshly prepared. The vegan menu is fairly large with traditional dishes from typical Roman cuisine. Yet, inventive at the same time. If there are specials, get them. They’ll always be seasonal. We had artichokes alla giudia and I’m still dreaming about them. Recently, they had a full vegan day. May that happen forever. Reservations are a must. #Veganuary
