Planta is a standout for plant based dining in a chic - Edit
Planta is a stylish spot for plant-based dining with beautifully presented dishes and a creative menu. 🌿✨ The service is attentive and professional, making the experience pleasant.
Read moreThat said, not everything hits the mark: the watermelon juice was very watery, and the pasta could use a creamier sauce that doesn’t taste strongly of coconut. On the bright side, many of the other dishes are flavorful and thoughtfully prepared.

Absolutely love PLANTA! - Edit
We’ve been to their Toronto, Miami, and Atlanta locations (Atlanta used to be our closest one—so sad it closed!) and every visit is consistently amazing.
Read moreThe BBQ pizza is hands-down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had—perfectly sauced, smoky, and full of flavor. The Bang Bang Broccoli is also a must-try—crispy, tangy, and addictively good.
The restaurant has a high-class, stylish vibe with beautiful decor and a fun, upscale energy. It’s the perfect spot for a special night out!

Small portions, where’s the tofu (or beans?) - Edit
Every time we visit, I think, it’s fun here, why don’t we come more often? And then the food comes. I got the lettuce wraps and there was a tiny serving of tofu (maybe three slivers in a small mushy mushroom mix) and that was it. My partner got the carbonara because he wanted something hearty and again it was a cold, small portion. We came with a group of 6 and our water was never refilled. The server was very kind, just too stretched in her section. It’s such a great location but underwhelming food.

Lives up to the hype. - Edit
Went for lunch with work colleagues and we ordered a bunch of items to share. Everything was so delicious! Definitely get the Bang Bang Broccoli and then follow your heart - you can’t go wrong! There are also a ton of gluten free options and substitutions if that’s something you’re looking for.

I make a special trip to eat here every couple of months. I think I've tried everything on the menu and it's all good. They have the only vegan pizzas that has ever satisfied my love of pizza. Their seasonal signature cocktails are a must try.

Great brunch - Edit
Visited here after a lovely meal earlier in the week at their sister restaurant, Planta Queen.
Read moreRather than a truckload of sushi I opted for the rueben handheld with kale caeser. Couldn't resist the eggplant unagi as a side. The sandwich was good but the kale salad was the star. Found that the 'meat' in the sandwich was a bit chewy but it wouldn't stop me from eating it again.
Pros: Good sized menu, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: Little cold in the restaurant

absolutely mindblowing - Edit
I’ve been going here since 2018 & they have improved so much since then. Boyfriend & I were mind-blown by the food. We had ahi watermelon nigiri, summer rolls, 1000 layer potatoes, chick’n sandwich, toffee pudding & the best for last… the Japanese steak. It freaked me out for a minute & I thought I had possibly somehow been served meat. I called the server over & she informed me not to worry: it’s 100% vegan. 😍 #Veganuary

Still a fab BUT - Edit
Planta has been my go to before beginning my vegan journey. The food is consistent; however, it's getting boring for what it's worth. My recommendation - visit during happy hour - you get great options for fraction of the reg menu. The PB Burger slaps. It's a pity it's not on the regular menu. Despite it all, still remains high on my list.

Not bad, but not great - Edit
I’ll start by saying I ordered Planta for delivery and my Doordash driver was on bike, so by the time the food got to me it had been sitting for about an hour. We got multiple things to try. The chinese chick’n salad was good, but I wish there was more dressing. There’s a LOT of cilantro, so be aware if you aren’t a fan. The spicy lumaconi pasta and the spaghetti carbonara were okay. I probably wouldn’t get them again. The last thing we got was the margherita pizza, which was my favorite out of everything. It definitely would have tasted better fresh, but I loved the pizza!

Amazing. and worth it! - Edit
This was amazing! I didn’t think it would be anything, only pretty atmosphere, but no no they had great food as well! It is pricey, especially if you want to try different things, but I mean it was worth it to us. They were playing with textures and flavors. Even those darn little potatoes were amazing! We got the brunch and I had the French toast, seems boring right? Noooo this was unlike you’ve ever had! It had everything, textures, slight sour, salt, sweet. I mean it was too great. My spouse had some of the other stuff and he was happy as he loves mushrooms! The Chaga coffee was great too. We wanted to go back but we decided to go to another nice place instead. This was very close too to where were were staying. It’s pricey though, but again get all dolled up, bring your cc and eat some interesting good plant foods!

Almost a perfect meal! - Edit
Been a longtime fan of PLANTA and have frequented the locations in New York City, so I’ve been eager to try out the Canadian location, especially the unique menu offerings.
Read moreOrdered four times: bang bang broccoli (small plate), fungi salad, udon noodles, and leek Bianca pizza. The bang bang broccoli and udon noodles remain my all-time favorite dishes from PLANTA (across locations) and are always a staple in each order of mine. Tried the fungi salad for the first time and it didn’t disappoint—it was quite flavorful and rich in texture and generous with dressing. However, the pizza was very underwhelming (despite prior rave reviews) and tasted very salty and dry. The vegan cheese seemed to be a strange texture. Would not recommend this pizza but would highly recommend all the other items listed above!!
Very spacious and aesthetically pleasing indoor seating. Even though it was a hot summer day and the wall of windows were open, it remained pleasantly cool inside.

Always Good - Edit
This is my first time going to Planta (I typically always go to Planta Queen). They have a similar menu to Planta Queen which I liked because getting the Bang Bang broccoli is mandatory. Also had some edamame and the Leek Bianca Pizza. The Leek Bianca Pizza was highly delicious and I highly recommend it.
