Well situated, cosy vegan restaurant with plenty of options, we opted for the tapas which did not disappoint (definitely get the tofu). Super friendly and accommodating staff, would definitely return!

The tofu salmon was beautiful. Flaky, with a crispy ‘skin’ and plenty of flavour. And the blue cheesecake a wonder to behold. Good choice of mains and desserts, which is what we enjoyed.

The Pink Lettuce was absolutely out of this world. The food was gorgeous. We thought with it being Chester that we would get small portions but we didn't. Although the food isn't cheap it is worth every penny. We even took our meat loving brother-in-law and my mums partner who is also a huge meat lover and both of them were blown away. It was my mums 80th and they put a banner on the table and a sparkler and candles in her dessert. Definitely be going back soon. Its even dog friendly. Just exceptional.

Read moreWalking in the decor and ambiance is elegant, the music could be a little quieter. I prefer background music so I can chat easily to my companion.
Great menus - small plates, drinks, and main menu. Table water provided, ours had sprigs of rosemary to subtly flavour it.
I had the vegan salmon meal and B had a salad and crispy tofu. We finished with the icecream and fresh fruit plate.
Absolutely love it here and cannot wait to return.

This food was incredible, really something special. I tried food I'd never had before, the "salmon" espcially blew me away. But the mushroom soup was almost absolutely amazing. My boyfriend had tofish and adored it too! All amazing! The blonde woman who served us was natural, warm and friendly. It was a birthday dinner and they made a special effort to put happy bday decoration on the table too!

Probably the best vegan restaurant I've ever visited. Beautiful food. Amazing choices for each course. I had 'salmon' with asparagus which was so delicious. Wonderful wine. Lovely surroundings. Tasteful tableware. Lovely staff.

Really enjoyed lunch here today. I had the tofu 'fish' and chips, which was delicious. I've had tofish before that has been too fishy for me, but this was the right tofu/fishy ratio for me. The tartar sauce was seriously yummy. My boyfriend had the tofu 'salmon', which he really enjoyed. We'll be back again to try the other meals on the menu.

Their mushroom soup is honestly one of the tastiest soups I’ve ever had. I had a Mac n’ cheese for mains and, even though it looked small, it really filled me up and it was absolutely delicious as well. I really recommend!

Read moreThe tofish, chips and peas was superb as was the the BBQ Dinner. The soups are gorgeous too, the best mushroom soup I've ever had.
The soft drinks are great and are without sweeteners.
Service is a little bit slow (to be polite) and it isn't cheap. But a nice place to visit none the less.

Easily the best vegan place in Chester! So happy we found it. Menu is great with a wide selection - everything from "fish" and chips and burgers to salads and spaghetti bolognese. I had the power salad (with tofu as an extra) and my boyfriend had the spaghetti bolognese. They were both delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had ice cream and sticky toffee pudding. They also have a 'Small Plates' menu which we're looking forward to trying next time. We'll definitely be back! The restaurant is cosy and spotlessly clean (even the toilets). The staff are friendly and welcoming. Everything was perfect really. The food is to a very high standard but the vibe of the restaurant is cosy and laid back. I think non-vegans would also be just as happy here. The food is so good, full of flavour and clearly made from scratch. Good value too - very generous portions! Thank you so much!

Had a fantastic meal here. We had cocktails to start, then for main course I had the "salmon" with asparagus, baby potatoes and a creamy dill sauce. OH had the pink burger which came in a yummy pink bun loaded with salad, bacon and cheese, with fries.

The best vegan in Chester - Edit
Absolutely phenomenal food and service. The meals were delicious and a healthy size for the amount of money paid. The service was fantastic and efficient and the staff were very attentive. I ate with a group of non vegans, who all objectively said that they would come back and really enjoyed their food. I cannot recommend Pink Lettuce enough.
