Don’t trust this place

The server was friendly enough, but I watched him add almond milk and a splash of dairy milk to my coffee when I requested non dairy. After that and reading the other reviews of people that were served meat, I’m not comfortable ordering here. They don’t seem to understand or take dietary restrictions seriously.

Pros: Vegan options

Cons: Can’t trust that your food will be vegan

Served Meat

I was given a beef Hamburger with cheese and mayo when I ordered a vegan burger. The cashier rang up my vegan burger correctly and there were no other orders at the time. Not my first time to this location and the food/service has always been marginal. There are limited VEGAN options at MSP. Take this one off the list.

Pros: Convenient

Cons: Service, Food, Attention to dietary restrictions

Sadly disappointed

Got the avocado toast and potatoes they said it will be should 10 mins I got it in 3 mins. 3 out of 4 slices of bread wasn’t toasted and the potatoes were cold. Thought they will make things fresh since I’m buying food around 630 am.

Pros: A bit of vegan options , Vegan brownie

Cons: They didn’t the time to prep the food

Wonderful Organic Vegan Items

This was delightful to find after 27 hours of travel! We had to wait longer than usual because there was only one employee working when it first opened, but it was worth the wait. We had the tofu breakfast scramble with vegan sausage and toast and potatoes for $11.50. Not a bad price by airport standards. There are many other vegan options throughout the day. The customer service was not bad, so hopefully whatever problems others have had with service have been resolved. I’ll look forward to my next connection through this airport and stopping here for a meal!

Pros: A hot vegan breakfast!, Two locations in the airport, Mostly organic!

Cons: Arriving when it opens, you may have to wait., Served in to-go boxes

Incredibly rude staff

The food was decent, but the atrocious customer service was impossible to dismiss. The staff at the register glared at me several times, aggressively shouted at me to stand at the other side of the line and wait, despite being the only customer there at the time. She barely had the patience to take my order without looking and sounding incredibly inconvenienced. I know this is airport food and the expectations are low, but yikes People’s Organic, have some basic customer service standards. Your food is not close to good enough for this kind of attitude from staff and animosity toward your paying customers.

Pros: Mediocre health food

Cons: Extremely disrespectful staff

Good potatoes- the rest could be better

Potatoes were great - everything else could be better-so close but missed the mark. Yet I would try them again. Takes at least 10 minutes.

Pros: Vegan options , Great potatoes with tofu scramble

Cons: Peppers & zucchini weren’t cooked , Tofu poorly spiced

Decent food, spotty reliability

I’ve eaten here a handful of times over the past year while flying through MSP. My consistent experience is that the service is not quick. Don’t know if they cook to order, but food usually takes about 10 minutes minimum to come out. Longer if they’re busy. Sometimes food options haven’t been available, and one time the one appliance that cooks the beyond burger was down due to cross contamination. The tofu scramble and avocado toast are good. Black bean chili is filling. The cauliflower wings are not good, IMO. I basically stick with the breakfast all day menu items that Peoples organic offers.

Pros: Vegan breakfast food! In an airport!!!, Clear vegan labeling

Cons: Service is slow, Menu items frequently unavailable

I mean for on the go airport food it’s pretty good! The Tofu scramble is my favorite, yes the staff is sometimes sassy, but kindness helps :), although if you are in a rush they do tend to be a bit slower then their competitors.

Pros: Vegan Options

Cons: Slow

Good options, staff could care less.

Yeah, after reading the previous comments and thinking it can’t be that bad, I was treated to a rude staff member who just picked at her nails with a toothpick while I checked out. I got the Buddha grab and go salad that was pretty good at least.

Pros: Vegan options like beyond burger, soup, salads.. , Breakfast options also

Cons: Staff really are not stoked to work there.

Horrible Customer Service

The people are so rude here. They open at 6am and when I stopped at 630 for breakfast they said they needed a 1/2 hour. Back at 7 and need another 1/2 hour. Then she yelled at me about how they need setup time. Shaking her head the whole time. Ummm, do like other restaurants and prep before opening.

Cons: Horrible service

Awful

Worst service I’ve ever had at an airport restaurant (I travel often) - rude, unprofessional, (even cursed at coworkers at register!) horrible tasting latte, which I had to ask for after 10 minutes of waiting… She’d forgotten and never apologized. They were out of most of the vegan options as well. The cook was walking around with someone’s sandwich in his bare hands for several minutes. STAY AWAY

Pros: Has vegan options

Cons: Out of many of the vegan options, RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL , Awful tasting latte

“OK”

Had the beyond burger and fries. Little too oily for my tastes. Green tea over ice was expensive and not good. Counter cook staff seemed kind of out of it.

Pros: They have vegan

Cons: Expensive and greasy

Yummy, filling, reasonably priced AIRPORT FOOD

So happy to find a place with multiple clearly marked vegan options and also organic! Mom got the avocado toast and I opted for the tofu scramble, which comes with curry-seasoned vegetables, fried potatoes, vegan sausage and 100% sprouted organic toast. Altogether this breakfast ran us $20. Very happy with this selection and will remember for future layovers in Minneapolis.

Pros: 3+ vegan options across the board, Quick service, Eco-friendly disposable containers and utensils

Sloppily prepared

Based on previous reviews, I probably should have tried the Beyond Burger. We had the avocado toast, which was quite good, but the tofu scramble was sloppily made. It was extremely oily and had way too much black pepper and too-large chunks of bell pepper. It also took a long time to get our food, so we were cutting it close for our flight.

Pros: Several clearly labeled vegan options, Good avocado toast, Compostable utensils

Cons: Very poor tofu scramble, Long wait to receive food

Organic + OK prices !

What a nice surprise to find a place with organic, vegan options that is not more expensive than other airport restaurants in MSP. They offer avocado toast, vegan scramble, soups, a variety of interesting drinks, vegan wings, but I went for the Beyond Meat Burger. The taste was very satisfying, yet the salad it came with very dull without any dressing so I would go for the sweet potato frie option next time.

Fast and easy

I’m appreciative of their clearly labeled vegan options and that they have soy, hemp, almond, and coconut milk (for an extra $1.50 which feels a bit much). The avocado toast wasn’t anything mind blowing but it was good and had just the right amount of salt. The vegan sausage is two little pieces for $4 so maybe not entirely worth it but it’s good. And the sweet matcha latte wasn’t overly sweet. It’s awesome to not have to modify dishes and ask questions.

Pros: Good options , Clearly labeled

Cons: Expensive to add plant milk

This was a great place in between flights

I was tired and hungry in between flights (as most of us are) and I grumpy because airport rarely ever have a vegan option (besides French fries) let alone having multiple options! I was pleasantly surprised by the options at Peoples Organic, however, given I was in need of a full meal I went for a beyond burger rather than one of their smaller treats. The burger was $13 but it came with vegan cheese and fries, but lets be real you would pay that much for any airport food. I would like to know what kind of cheese they use because I was 100% a fan! They have plenty of other options that were smaller and cheaper, but this burger filled me up and changed my mood so I would definitely recommend! And to think I almost didn't even bother looking for an option, what a find!
