Happy to have dropped in - Edit
There's a lot of vegan options here, I went for the traditional Italians cuisine and I'd recommend doing so😄
Read moreThe staff was very friendly, there's a lot of seats both outdoors and indoors, with air conditioning and free wifi
Generous amount of wine when I ordered by the glass haha
The bruschetta was decent, but it lacked some punch. Not enough garlic, could use some salt and pepper, the bread was a tad too soggy to really enjoy it.
The pasta, on the other hand, was very good - I had the one with ragu and vegan cheese, which lives up to my expectations for Italian cooking. Thick noodles cooked al dente, the sauce was flavourful as well :)
All in all I'd recommend stopping by when you're in the area!
Pros: Staff / acommodations, Portion size, Pasta
Cons: Bruschetta a bit of a let-down

Very good vegan pizza - Edit
I ordered the pizza capricciosa. I really loved the crust and the big, fluffy, charred edges 😍
Read moreIt came with vegan cheese, bacon, mushrooms, artichokes and black olives. The toppings were delicious and abundant 👌
My boyfriend got vegan lasagne, he liked them a lot, but they were not my cup of tea personally (they tasted of nutritional yeast which I don't like much).
This place serves meat but for nearly every non-vegan dish there is a vegan alternative!
Pros: Great pizza, Lots of vegan choices, Outside seating

Ristorante stupendo - Edit

So good & so many vegan options! - Edit
The food was honestly so delicious. We had a hard time choosing what to get because they have so many options that all sound delicious. We ended up ordering the vegan lasagna, arancini (suppli) and meatballs! We were very happy with our choice and want to come back again to try other dishes!

So good! - Edit
Es difícil encontrar opciones veganas con proteína en Italia (o al menos a mí me ha costado) y aquí tenían varias, probé la lasagna y estaba muy rica. Espero volver a probar otros platos del menú :)

Amazing - Edit
So many vegan options clearly marked. Including vegan carbonara, lasagna, and gnocchi with pesto. Was so hard to choose but I went with the carbonara and was not disappointed! Was probably the best pasta I’ve had in my life. Also got the vegan tiramisu for dessert and it was so creamy. Great place to bring non-vegan friends and family as they have a great selection of both vegan and non-vegan options.

Delicious gnocci - Edit
They have a number of vegan options, but having tried both their pizza and pasta, I'd recommend the pesto gnocchi and the vegan millefeuille. Staff were lovely and really proud of their vegan options.

Delicious food, great service - Edit
Food was delicious and we liked that they had vegan food for me and non-vegan options for the omnivores in my group. We all loved our food and went several times.

Great vegan pizza and tiramisu - Edit
While this restaurant does not only offer vegan foods, it has a very nice variety of vegan foods. On our stay in Rome we were looking for authentically Italian foods that would also be vegan and this restaurant checked the marks perfectly, their vegan pizza was among the best vegan pizzas we ever had. Vegan tiramisu was really refreshing as well. Great service, close to city centre, close to some lovely historical sites.

Wir hatten die vegane Lasagne und Pasta alio e olio und beides war sehr lecker 😋 veganes Tiramisu gab es allerdings nicht obwohl es auf der Karte stand - der limoncello Spritz war auch auch top und preislich alles absolut fair

ROME RECOMMENDATION: The Origano restaurant with a very large vegan selection. Many classic dishes can easily be ordered vegan. I would have liked to have had a pizza, but I spent the whole trip eating pizza marinara before I traveled to Rome and I was sick of pizza.
Read moreThe picture shows the menu: the Suppli Vegano as a starter, the vegan Amatriciana pasta as a main course (super tasty, but I would have loved vegan Parmesan as a cheese substitute, it was more of a grated cheese substitute). And then for dessert, tiramisu🥰
Pros: big vegan selection, in the heart of rome, authentic veganized italian food
Cons: long waits

Must visit for vegans but meh flavour - Edit
Since going vegan I thought I'd never eat a few specific foods ever again and when I saw Origano had one of *such foods* (aka the Millefoglie) i absolutely had to go and try it.
Read moreVisually very impressive and extravagant and pretty big, the custard and whipped cream layered on flaky pastry looked delicious! The custard and whipped cream tasted a lot like the unpleasant taste of soy milk, that unsweetened soy earthiness, and the little chocolate chips kept the bursts of cheap dark chocolate flavour in my teeth. It was just quite odd and for any amount of money, in this case €7, the millefoglie just wasn't worth it. I'm really glad I tried it though, but I'd recommend trying a different dessert here like the vegan tiramisù that also looked delicious and is hard to come by vegan.
If they read this, my feedback is just to make the curtard and whipped cream sweeter and less soy tasting, and add more flaky layers since that is what makes the millefoglie what it is!
