The BEST vegan food we had in Rome - Edit
SO MANY vegan options. Many of the traditional menu items have a vegan version. We are here 3 times as it was just that good. We tried several other places and this was by far the best. Everything we tried was amazing. The staff were knowledgeable.

Typical italien restaurant with many vegan options - Edit
Great place close to the center. Perfect restaurant to go with non vegan persons. The menu proposes all typical vegetarian dishes and the same options for vegan. The vegan tiramisu was great!

Good range of options - Edit
I enjoyed that there were a range of options for Italian dishes which you don't often find vegan e.g. gnocchi, lasagne, carbonara, pizzas with mozzarella, tiramisu etc. I enjoyed everything I had, particularly the cacio e pepe, but nothing was amazing. I'd definitely go back to try more options but this wasn't the best food I had in Italy by a long way. It was also on the more expensive end without being amazing quality, though I imagine this is largely due to location

Delicious - Edit
Loads of vegan options clearly labelled. Our dishes (gnocci with tomato sauce/basil, and tonnarelli cacio e pepe) were very tasty, and the dessert (apple cake with whipped cream and ice cream) was simply the best vegan dessert we've ever had! I would give them 5* if Happy Cow allowed it!

This restaurant was just perfect. Non-veg food was available (for my friend) but the vegan Sluppi and Carbonara were so delicious! Would definitely go there again

Quite a few vegan offers. I had the chicken curry. The curry sauce was very tasty but too oily for me and I don’t think that tempeh was the best choice for the vegan chicken. Seitan would have been more appropriate.

Pros: The curry sauce was tasty, Very friendly waiter, Lots of vegan dishes
Cons: Too much oil in the curry, Tempeh wasn’t the right choice for the “chicken”

Good vegan Italian options - Edit
Went here with group of vegan / non-vegan eaters on holiday. Everyone had a nice meal. Vegan options were good vegan versions of Italian dishes. Had the carpaccio di carcioffi (salad of sliced artichoke with rocket), bruschette, vegan lasagne, which we really liked. Service was very friendly.

Great place to meet with omni friends - Edit
This omni restaurant has extensive and clearly labeled vegan items. Taking advice from a previous reviewer, I ordered the tiramisu and thousand leaves cake for dessert; both were great. I definitely plan to come back here when getting together with non-vegan friends.

Great pizza - Edit
The vegan Margherita here was the best pizza I had in my 10 days in Italy. The carciofi alla Romana was amazing. All the vegan options (and there are many) are clearly marked.

So delicious!!! I had the vegan basil gnocchi which was delightful. We also ordered the tiramisu & thousand leaves cake - the cake was particularly delicious. We already booked a reservation to go tomorrow night! An ideal spot for vegans/vegetarians traveling with omnivores. Something for everyone!

A 5/5 actually! - Edit
This was my second time visiting Rome and Origano is the first place I went back to. Their pizzas are very delicious and so are their pastas. Their salads are incredibly fresh and appetizing. They offer multiple vegan dishes, including multiple desserts! Truly a 5/5 if it would be possible for me to give it that rating.

Many vegan options, some better than others - Edit
The restaurant has many vegan options, but they are kind of hit and miss. For example we very much enjoyed the “Fettucine al ragù di Seitan”, the “Millefoglie di Melanzane alla Parmigiana” and the “Millefoglie vegana con crema pasticciera”. We can also recommend the “Supplì vegano”, the “Focaccia semplice” and the “Torte caprese vegana”. On the other hand, we would not order the bruschette or the vegan tiramisu again. It’s definitely a great place to try vegan versions of many typical local dishes (the restaurant also serves the non vegan version of them).
