Organic Excellence…! - Edit
When we were in Lisbon, we couldn’t resist checking out the vegan spots on Happy Cow. One of the top-rated restaurants we found was Organi Chiado, which is just a short walk from our place in the Bairro-Alto. So, we decided to go for lunch and see what all the fuss was about!
Read moreThe place was already packed when we got there, but the inside had a cool, sophisticated vibe. Our server was super friendly and attentive. Of course, all that sightseeing had made us thirsty, so we started with a couple of super cold Super Bocks.
For our main course, we shared an appetizer of bread and pâtés. Oh my gosh, the spreads were amazing! There were three different ones: Basil Tofu, Olives-Walnut, and Peanut Butter-Apple. All of them were delicious, but the Basil Tofu was my favorite. It was so refreshing and smooth, and it was unlike anything I’d ever tasted before — not made out of tofu, anyway.
Organi Chiado has two different specials that change (I believe) every day, and on our first visit, we both couldn’t resist the Braised Tofu (served with lime rice, a side salad, and tempura veggie crisp). It was incredible! Hands down, the best food we’d had up to that point. And the prices were surprisingly reasonable, considering how fancy the place was.
We left feeling totally satisfied and made a mental note to come back to Chiado Organi soon. But guess what? The very next day, we went to another vegan restaurant that was a total disaster. We were so hungry and disappointed that we ran straight back to Organi to save the day! (This time around, again, we shared a larger order of the bread and pâtés; I did cheesy penne pasta; Jay the lasagna. And, too, we shared a pecan pie with house-made ice cream. O.M.G…!!!) And not only did it save us, but we also got to catch up with our friend from the day before, which was really nice.
Simply awesome!!!
Pros: Food!!!, Service!!!, Anbiance!!!
Cons: Loved it ALL…!!!

Gorgeous Spot - Edit
I loved the outdoor seating, super cute and romantic. Unfortunately, I wasn’t really blown away by the menu choices. I ended up getting the “pate” trio, fresh bread, and lentil soup — sounds simple, but the flavors were immaculate! I think the menu might be deceiving in that way, so I definitely recommend trying it out. High quality and care is obvious.

Holy flavors! - Edit
The soup of the day (carrot with pistachio) was just amazing and so was the main dish (penne pasta).
Read moreThe prices are appropriate (for soup, main dish and wine I paid 17,30€).
I recommend getting reservations though (recommend that for most vegan restaurants in Lisbon actually).

Nice place - Edit
It’s a nice place, they have a juice or the day and different kinds of dishes, the salad was good. I think the atmosphere there is quite generic of green organic place and personally I prefer more special little places.

Delightfully delicious vegan and veggie restaurant which now ranks as my favourite in Lisbon! The veggie wrap and ChocoCream dessert are particularly outstanding. 5 star vegan food in Lisbon! - Edit
Delightful organic vegan restaurant located in the heart of Lisbon!
Read moreFood*****
This place earned a very RARE 5 stars from us for its food! The Rice bread is recommended and wow is it delicious!! We ordered the Risotto and the Veggie Chili. The veggie chili was a knockout, home run, and all the sides complimented it so well—the apples with the delicious sauce and cashews, the fresh side salad with balsamic and pomegranate and delicious rice. The Risotto was great (not as amazing as the chili) but tasted wonderful and was garnished w/ nutritional yeast and had portobello mushrooms. We got every food group in this dinner! We also got a Pina Colada that was so delicious and so fresh!
Atmosphere****
Great setting with several tables inside and a good amount outside. The lighting was not too bright and just the right setting. There is parking nearby and on the street. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the limited space inside but we can’t really fault them for that!
Service*****
Quick, friendly, and the waiter was prompt to our table. We ordered a drink and it came really quick and was sooo fresh!
Price$$
Incredible price for food this good! It was only slightly over 12USD, which is below the $15USD that gets a place 3 price tags

Very good food with great presentation and taste. Central location and nice setting in town. There are quite limited options, but they will suffice. I had the lasagna and I will have it again on my next visit to Lisboa.

Excelente.
Volveremos.

Very good lasagnas! The salad was a bit too simple and not very original, but the vegetables were fresh and the roasted ones were tasty. The sangria was not very high in alcohol.

Lovely spot - Edit
I got really hungry after spending a full day on my feet in hilly Lisbon but this was the only vegan spot open nearby so I decided to try it out. It's on a nice alley away from the busy traffic and their outside terrace was a good choice. Though the tables are so close to each other I could hear every word from other parties. I had a carrot soup with a double serving of bread and absolutely enjoyed it! I finished all the bread it was sooo good and the soup was very flavourful with many different notes of spices and a great finish of roasted pistachio nuts. Their vegan cheese looked delicious and I'm sure it's worth trying.

Bad experience - Edit
Should be 1 star. This was absolutely a let down. The food was not good and they did not have many of the menu items the show on their Instagram. I had a Cesar salad. It was lettuce with a lot of vegan cheese on the top and then maybe 10 pcs deep fried tofu and bread crumbs around. Very boring and did not taste good. You have to buy bread and it come with no spread, that you have to buy separately as well for 2 euros if I remember correctly. Forgot to take any pictures 🙄. The food for my two companions was just as bad.

Why would you expect bread to come with free spreads? It is a common thing that you have to pay for what you eat :)

Perfect dinner experience. - Edit
Such a long time I was looking for a vegan cheesecake as good as the first one time I ever ate in a vegan restaurant over 10 years ago in New York and today I found a worthy contender at Organi Chiado 😍Nonetheless, the dinner itself was also incredibly good, I am really surprised by the high quality vegan food options in this city with Organi Chiado being in the top 3 of Lisbons all vegan restaurants. Great food, lovely atmosphere, very welcoming service, all in all a perfect dinner experience.
